Tucked away in a quiet court in town, it is like a little well kept secret that you will be delighted by. Cosy and quaint and it feels like home the moment you open the door & perfect for those who are on a budget.
This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group)

BEDDING CONFIGURATION (Sleeps 7)
Bedroom 1 - Queen Bed
Bedroom 2 - 1 x Tri-bunk
Bedroom 3 - 1 x Queen bed (room located off laundry)

KITCHEN & DINING
The kitchen - compact and oh so cute! You step down onto the original slate floor and can then gaze out into the amazing undercover outside patio area. The kitchen has everything you need including electric cooking, microwave & fridge – but no dishwasher, so make sure you bring the kids! Dining area will provide you with all your basic needs and includes dining seating for 6.

LOUNGE & ENTERTAINMENT
The lounge features a reverse cycle AC and plenty of comfortable seating suitable for 6 people. There is a smart TV, there is a Google Chromecast device attached to the TV. This device plugs into the HDMI cable on the TV and allows you to use the streaming services. Instructions on use are at the property. As an added bonus, for those who are nostalgic, there is a Nintendo 64 available too.

This property has WIFI.

HEATING & COOLING
There is a reverse cycle AC in the lounge, a ceiling fan in one QS bedroom, panel heater in the dining area and panel heaters for two of the bedrooms. A brand new fireplace has just been added to this beautiful property.

BATHROOM
The compact main bathroom features a shower over the bath and vanity with a toilet. There is also another separate toilet in the room off the laundry.

OUTDOORS
A generous undercover entertainment area, set in rambling cottage gardens with established mature trees, this really is a great place for families to kick back and relax.

LAUNDRY
There is a washing machine, ironing board and iron in the laundry for your convenience.

PARKING
Under cover carport parking is provided for one car with room for more in the driveway. There is an open storage area where you can hang and wash your bikes - complete with bike racks, a hose and a bike pump. *Please note this area is not lockable.

PET POLICY
Whychesbrooke Cottage is pet friendly. Please ensure you've read and understand the terms and conditons regarding pets in our holiday properties. In order for us to continue to offer pet friendly properties we ask that you clean up after your pets and treat the property with respect.

Location excellent, short walk into town. House comfortable, cost effective and had everything we needed.Fantastic pet friendly yard, even our 2.3kg dog couldn’t find an escape hole and our 15kg dog just loved rummaging in the bushes back and front yard. We were able to sit on the veranda, enjoying the atmosphere, with the dogs having the freedom of a secure bush type garden setting.

Lovely hideaway with fabulous location

Comfortable cottage with a beautiful garden. Terrific location with easy access to town and ovens river. The bathtub (with shower) had a high, wide ledge that was a bit tricky for my 70 mum to negotiate. Art work was a little confronting but overall a lovely holiday house.

Bright girls

Not what the pictures portrayed. Bit disappointed but we're comfortable enough. Need more mirrors (we were 5 women aged 45-65) . Bath was a bit tricky for us oldies, trying to get in/out of. The fan over top bunk might decapitate someone if left going while top bunk in use. But, we had a great weekend in your gorgeous town. Will definitely revisit.

Would be cold in Winter as there are gaps everywhere around doors and windows, but heaters worked ok except one bedroom where the heater didn't work.Getting up to the toilet in the middle of the night woke everyone as every door sqeeks and all floorboards creak.Would definitely stay again though as the price reflected the gripes we had.

All you need - MTB friendly

We arrived for a MTB weekend - house was clean , and comfortable , shower if the fantastic original type shower head and water nice and warm . Kitchen is small but all we needed. Perhaps could have coffee capsule machine , otherwise all was great. Back yard has superb little fire pit area , with hose and bine hooks under cover - they’d left pump available - didn’t need it but sentiment was great Heaters work to well :) but you have control of that :) Great for our four people - thanks vendors / hosts

Quiet relaxed cottage

Had a lovely stay (too short) at Whychesbrook Cottage. The cottage was clean, close to the centre of town but in a very quiet area and had everything we needed. We would be happy to come back and stay there again.

The house was adequate for our needs - good heating, plenty crockery and everything was clean. The house is fairly run down. We didn't use the third bedroom near the laundry as it was a little dusty, probably due to the draft coming in from the back door. Overall, we enjoyed our time here!

Wychesbrook Cottage Bright Victoria

Perfectly suited our needs. Our 2 pups had an enclosed yard with room to runaround. The Cottage was just like being at home with all we could have asked for. Clean, warm, comfortable and inviting. Not over the top price wise and close to the town centre we enjoyed our stay so much we increased the stay by an extra night. Dealing with the Agent was easy and stress free. Would absolutely recommend.

Beautiful Bright

Perfect house for our family. Clean, well appointed with everything needed in kitchen. Gorgeous little back yard to relax in after big bike rides. Comfy beds. Great hot water after swims in river. We will be back for sure
