This home is in a great location. Close to shopping, restaurants and the cruise ports. We had an issue with the WiFi and they fixed it promptly.

It was ok. We just stayed one night. The couches need to be updated. There is a very small t.v. In the living room could be a little bit bigger. The lady was very nice and very responsive.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - The couches in the living room were replaced about a year ago, and one of them is a pull-out sofa, which can sometimes feel softer than a standard couch. - The TV size was selected to fit comfortably within the layout of the room, which is narrower in design. - The listing photos and description provide detailed information about the furnishings and layout, including the pull-out sofa, so guests know what to expect before booking. - We’re always reviewing guest feedback to see where improvements can be made to keep the home comfortable and enjoyable for future stays. Let me preface this review by saying that the host, Ms. Carrie, was wonderful. I needed extra blankets and she responded immediately. Now for the not so great. The beds were all horrible. The queen bed was hard as a board. The couch pull-out mattress was basically springs with a sheet on top. The bunk beds also were like springs with sheets. We wanted to use the shared hot tub, however, it was unusable. Water was green. We only stayed one night, so it worked for us. I just would not recommend any extended stay.

We appreciate your comment on the quickness of our response to your request for extra blankets.While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences. The queen bed is a very plush mattress. The bunk beds have the mattresses that go on a bunk bed.The pull-out couch has the mattress that came with the couch. Unfortunately, they are literally factory-made and go with the couch. As far as we know, it can not be replaced.The hot tub is monitored weekly, and there are colored lights that can make the water appear colorful. The lights came with the hot tub.

An Excellent Base for Galveston

We spent time at the beach and Schlitterbahn in Galveston and this was a great space to have as base camp while we explored the island. Our kids loved the bunk beds! Check-in was easy and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The space was well laid out and worked great for our needs, and the towel heater was an excellent addition!

Loved the inside! Don’t let the exterior confuse you. The inside was well done and made for a great experience. The “depot” theme was a great touch. If I ever find myself needing a place to stay in the Galveston area, I will not hesitate to book again!

Great place!

It’s an awesome location, very very clean! It has everything you need, better than any hotel! Definitely recommend! Communication with property management was a concern but other than that it was awesome! Will definitely book again!

Property is questionable from outside but inside was so cute. My only complaint is the pull out bed mattress is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! the bunk beds are also rock hard! Terrible sleep. So glad it was only one night.. please consider upgrading matresses! Host was great with communication though

The best!!!

Everything was so nice and well kept! Such easy instructions and great location!!! We had a mixup when checking in and it was solved SO fast and she was so nice about the whole thing!!! Would absolutely recommend and book with her again!!! My boyfriends and I had a wonderful first trip to Texas together and this place was a big part of it!

Apartment was okay, lots of ants entry smelled like old urine cleaned with lemon. A mouse ran across my daughter foot while sitting in the living room. It was uncomfortable. A/Cunits leaking mildew visible. I’m allergic to mold and mildew among many other things so my allergies was on 10. If they get control over the bugs and mice it would be okay but it wasn’t for me.

Family trip

Emergencies sometimes happen when least expected. The condo provided a convenient location we could comfortably stay together. Our host was more than gracious, insuring every request was taken care of and helping us any way she could. The apartment was large and clean with all necessities supplied. Conveniently located 3 blocks from the Seawall and it was a short distance to multiple restaurants. The next time in Galveston will be a true vacation and we will definitely stay again.

Need better parking area

Apartment was fine but when we got home at night we had to park pretty far away in a scary neighborhood. We also had someone knock on kitchen door that faces the ally late at night.

Beach family vacation 23

Exactly as described. Had plenty of room to all be comfortable and relaxed. It was very easy to contact the owner when there was an issue with unlocking the main door. (It's really hot and the lock was being stubborn) She came right away and helped us. We had all the kitchen equipment needed to cook supper and that saved us a good bit of money.

Pros and cons

Good location. Easy access to beach and restaurants. (About 3 blocks to beach) This isn’t a private place, there are multiple residents and other rooms being rented out. The courtyard was nice to come back to and use the hot tub. They also have access to golf karts 4 & 6 seaters for an additional fee. We took advantage of the 6 seater and it was nice and easy to drive around to the pier and beaches. The few cons I would say about this place is the beds aren’t comfortable at all. The water pressure & hot water is minimal due to the multi usage of the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and the host was super nice. (The host lives on the property)
