ビーチから歩いてすぐの場所にあるので、混雑した道路を横断する必要はありません。 私たちの家は2つの屋根付きデッキ、WiFi、ディッシュネットワークテレビ、ピクニックテーブル、屋外シャワー、チャコールグリルから素晴らしい海の景色を眺めることができます。 家はガソリンスタンド、食料品店、ステーキハウス、ミニチュアゴルフコースから徒歩圏内です。

到着すると、各ベッドに清潔なリネン、7〜8枚のバスタオル、各バスルームにトイレットペーパーがいっぱい入っていることがわかります。 キッチンには鍋/フライパン、銀製品、食器、ガラス製品、電子レンジ、トースター、コーヒーメーカーなどがあります。

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The location to the beach is perfect. It's right there! Galveston was just 12 minutes away. Lisa was a lovely host. She answered my questions quickly. I will definitely rent again.

The house is great!! The bunk room was perfect for the grandkids. The kitchen is well stocked. We also loved the outside areas both the upstairs decks as well as the outside area. The wagon and sand toys were nice to have.

My son in law proposed to my oldest daughter on a battle ship...That was cool to see. These guys loved how close the walk to the beach was could even drive on the beach but no need. How close every market and drink store was within 3 miles or less. Could go across the street that had a lazy river, hot tub, pool, and putt putt for the youngers. Will definitely use this place again Lisa was great with communication on everything. Thank you and loved it

Location was perfect! Short walk to beach. Great accommodations! Very clean and updated! Only wish we had known before grocery shopping in Galveston that a great little grocery store was just a short walk south of the house which had just about everything we needed! Next time!!

Weekend on the Beach

We are a family of 8, stayed for a 3-day weekend. Lisa is the best Host I have ever had to deal with. She has the house in excellent condition, very comfy and beautiful. Steps from the beach. Lisa has thought of everything, the house is fully equipped!

Beautiful Home

Home is very beautiful and well kept. Beds were very comfortable. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, even spices ... only needed to take food. Location is perfect and only a two minute walk to the beach. We will definitely be renting again.

Beautiful home in a great location, near many convenience stores and quick walk to the beach. Loved all of the indoor and outdoor spaces. Both included multiple nice and comfy seating options. The outdoor shower worked great and did have hot water. There is also a hose to rinse off beach gear. There are chairs and a wagon with sand toys to take to the beach. We enjoyed using the outdoor grill. It is off the main road and a popular drive on access to the beach so it can be noisy to some, like other posts have said, but the noise will not take away from you enjoying your stay. Highly recommend!

Classic Jamaica Beach Beachhouse

I grew up here, and came back for a visit. I appreciate that this house has stayed unique and colorful, just as I remember Jamaica Beach. Other rentals have been flipped into conglomerate-owned "grey-white" non-descript homes. Appreciate this little gem.

Galveston beach 2023

We enjoyed our stay. Very nice and close to the beach. House was good, clean. Nice deck. Good communications with owner, I had left some things and she was willing to send it to me. Also, she let us stay a few extra hours the day of departure. Which was awesome. My only downside was, it was very close to the road and the noise of the traffic bothered me, but then I’m quite sound sensitive. The rest of the family was not bothered by the traffic sounds. Overall a great stay.

Nice but tired

We travel for a living so I like to give straight up honest reviews. The parking was good. The outdoor shower is only cold water and is just a trickle. The chairs and toys, that were at a different rental were pretty gross. We bought ourselves two new chairs. The grill is open and rusted and dirty. I wouldn’t cook on it so we had to do all our steaks inside the oven. The house was clean. It is on the road so be prepared for lots of noise. The AC is also loud so you better bring ear plugs. There is a house in front of you so your view is obscured. The living room consisted of one tired old couch that seats 3 very closely and two old wicker chairs. There is a TV and there are lots of options. Table seats 4. Kitchen is tired. Dishwasher door slams down and don’t pull hard on the top shelf lest you pull it completely off. The beds are super hard. Fantastic stacked washer and dryer. Nice towels. Furniture on balcony consists of high wooden chairs and a table. The other table is to low to dine on with the high chairs. The stairs inside are super dangerous. The rail begins past the first step. Beware of that for sure. It was easy access to the beach. Honestly it would feel so crowded with more than 3 people. It was fine for us but I think overpriced for a comfortable house. The redeeming quality was walking to the beach.

Beach Getaway

Although we live about an hour away, our stay made us feel like we were on vacation. I wish I could give this listing over 5 stars. Miss Lisa was very attentive and was always a message away. It’s safe to say we’ve found our favorite beach house in Jamaica Beach.

Great view

Had a great weekend trip with family of 5 and 2 small dogs. Views were amazing steps from the beach and close to stores/restaurants. This house (in my opinion) is biggest bang for the buck in this area. My 15 year old daughter left her wallet in the kids room and the property manager (Lisa) found it and mailed it to us within a couple of days! I would highly recommend this house and would stay again!

Lovely mini vacay

We decided to escape the very cold January temperatures of Kansas and come down to the only beaches you can drive to in 1 day, the Texas coast! I had never been to this area before and it was just as I thought it would be. We picked the Jamaica Beach part of Galveston because it looked quiet and less populated which it was. The house was very clean on the inside, super cozy and warm. It had everything we needed for our short 3 day stay. We enjoyed the excellent gulf views from the top floor deck, listening the nonstop crash of waves on the beach and cool breezes. The beach is about 75 yards from the front door and you feel like it’s waterfront. We walked on the beach each day, it was sunny and 70s and wonderful. There are restaurants and a local market very close by. This was a perfect short vacay or extra long wekeend and can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing stay near the beach

It was truly a great place to stay for 4th of July! Loved the fact that it was about a 2 second walk to the beach. The water had bacteria so we decided not to swim there but Schlitterbahn was only 20 minutes away!

Excellent beach house

It’s hard to beat a 2 minute walk to the beach with deck views of the ocean from each level of the house. Lisa was most helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. With a good sized convenient store one block away, we were able to quickly grab any items we forgot to bring. We will definitely be back for more fun in the sun!!

Kevin and Elsa Smith, married for 35 years, have raised a family of three boys for whom they built and named 3 houses back in 2004. The revenues generated from rentals were dedicated to funding their sons' college education. Now, with the joy of grandchildren in their lives, the couple has affectionately renamed the home "Kids Cottage." They hope that one day, the proceeds from rentals will also contribute to the education of their beloved grandchildren.

The beach house, originally built in 2004, underwent a complete remodel in 2024. Situated in the desirable and safe Jamaica Beach area of Galveston, this home boasts stunning views of both the beach and the bay. Conveniently located, it is just a 3-minute walk from a restaurant, a neighborhood grocery store, and a gas station. Across the street, you'll find the Jamaica Beach RV Park which has a pool, a lazy river, and an 18-hole glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course that is open to the public for a small fee.

Kids Cottage comfortably sleeps 12 to 14 guests, utilizing the sectional sofa as an additional bed. Its close proximity to the beach and open-concept living, dining, and kitchen areas make it an ideal spot for friend and family gatherings. The layout allows for both togetherness and personal space, with options to retreat to the top deck off the master and second bedrooms, the main deck off the living room, the downstairs area, or the beach for some quiet time. This particular beach is clean and pretty safe considering that the Jamaica beach police department is just a couple of blocks away.
