Very nice place and location. Needs some attention, light blubs, bunkbeds unstable. Kitchen was well appointed.Sitting area and fireplace were very nice. Stayed the weekend with my sisters and we had a wonderful time

Hard to find, worth the effort

When it's dark, this place is initially challenging to find. It is not well-marked, and you can't see the cabin from the street. Instead, you see what appears to be an abandoned ranch house. Once we got past this difficulty, our 3-day stay was fantastic.

OK place for a short stay

The directions were lacking. We drove by it twice before we tried an unmarked gravel road. That was it. The place was clean except for the lady bug infestation above the doors. The front door lock would not lock. I contacted the property manager to get it resolved. It was still not resolved by the end of our stay. I had to lock the front door from the inside and climb out the bedroom window. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Beware of using the iron. We were going to a wedding and I wanted to touch up my shirt. Rusty water ran over the collar of my shirt. Luckily I was able to get it clean.

Great place in a quiet setting

We loved our stay. It was quiet and away from town but close enough to reach places in 10 or 15 minutes. Very clean. Very enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Rental

We were so happy to find such a beautiful rental property so close to our family. Sadly, we were traveling for a funeral but would definitely book this again and recommended it to our family in town for future guests. It was comfortable, clean, and styled nicely.

Great experience!

The place is great! We noticed the smoke alarm was chirping upon arrival but it didn’t take very long at all for the owner take care of it. Nice folks!

Organization and atmosphere was perfect! Perfect for two people, only one bathroom. Tv placement was awkward and furniture too heavy to move. Water leak/damage at roof line into living room needs to be repaired

Quilt Week

A great place to stay for quilt week and we truly enjoyed the peaceful quiet this home provided. It had most things we needed. The dishwasher worked fine but was not secured in place and made it hard to open. There is only one bathroom and sometimes this was a challenge. The bathroom could’ve used some hooks to hang towels. If you bring a sewing machine, you’ll need to bring a table to put it on. Exiting the driveway was hard due to overgrown bushes. They made it hard to see but I would definitely recommend this place for two people.

Perfect little place and location

So cute, and tucked away. So tucked away we missed the gravel driveway the first time. ;) My friend who came is really into bird watching and was amazed on how many birds she saw and heard in the property. Besides hitting downtown Paducah, we also drove to Vienna, IL for a really fun tunnel, and trestle bike ride on Tunnel Hill State Trail. Go to Vienna Diner after. Another recommendation is Freight House for dinner in Paducah. Really really good food! The only thing missing from the house is a toaster. Everything well was great.

Relaxing girls weekend

We rented this property for a girl’s weekend in April. It’s a clean, beautiful, and exactly described and pictured. The kitchen is fully stocked so we had no trouble preparing meals. Host was very kind and responsive. As described, firewood was provided. We read reviews that others had difficulty finding it and although we were watching, we did drive past the driveway today first night. We turned around and found it pretty easily. Overall it was a lovely stay.

Beautiful property

This property was beautiful, and well appointed. However, if complete seclusion is for you, this may not fit the bill. To be fair, we stayed In February, and the property is surrounded by trees, and therefore in other seasons it will be more private. Also it may be hard to find, and perhaps an address placard in front of the driveway would help. Nonetheless it was a pleasant stay.

Beautiful home, clean and lovely.

Things we loved: Lighting in bedrooms Mirrors in bedrooms Awesome coffee maker Love to stove! Love how clean the home is Makeup wash clothes-such a great idea Things we would have liked: - [ ] Add reflectors and signage for the driveway - it was very hard to find in they daylight let alone after dark - [ ] Lightbulbs in living room lamps - [ ] Towel hooks or bars in bathroom - no where to put wet towels or hang a robe - [ ] Kleenex tissues - [ ] Toaster - [ ] Side tables in the master bedroom - [ ] Small table under mirror in master bedroom - [ ] Anchor the dishwasher because you can’t open without the whole thing pulling out - [ ] Clean deck chair cushions and bring in after guests leave or cover after leaving - [ ] Change burned out bulbs in kitchen light fixture - [ ] Put bottom brace on sliding door in bedroom so it doesn’t bang when the bathroom door opens and closes - [ ] Provide bedding for sofa slide out - [ ] Would be nice to have full length mirror - [ ] Door stop for the bathroom door

Absolutely Wonderful

Very clean property. The place is like brand new. Modern amenities and everything you would possibly need for a comfortable stay is provided. Only thing I would change to the whole package is better markings for the driveway entering the property but other than that it’s perfect

We liked the house a quiet place we like the yard and neighborhood.

We love the house. The yard is big to play with kids and run even do some sports. We spend a beautiful time with my family.
