Weekend at the Lake

We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were comfortable. The kitchen had what we needed. We could sit at the dining table or outside. The patio and grass are were great for our toddler to play in. Beautiful views. We used the community pool and beach area. We enjoyed dinner nearby as well.Thank you for a nice stay!

Amazing stay

Apt was perfectly located right ne t to the tennis/pickleball courts and wedding venue. 2 min walk. Sara was great and super easy to get ahold of. Great stay!

Great summer vacation spot

Great time at SML

Condo was well set up, very clean. Beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Deer at our back door early in the morning. Great restaurants to visit close by. Fished on two mornings with a local guide and had a great time catching striped bass, largemouth and smallmouth bass. Even caught some nice catfish. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

The condo had great space. Plenty of seating to have our friends from another condo come over and share dinner. Location is great. Kids enjoyed playing in the grass out the back.

Lovely condo!

Stayed for two nights….husbands were playing in a VSGA tournament for golf and wives accompanying them. Great location for two courses and ladies had lots to do. Great location and condo so clean and well appointed. Quiet and great views….

Another great Condo stay in Bernards Landing

We've stayed in numerous condos over the past few years in Bernard/s Landing and we always appreciate the care and extra touch's the homeowners put into the properties to make our stays a great experience which is why we always come back to the same ones! A fresh, clean smell upon entry, clean linens & towels, fully stocked kitchen & comfortable furniture offering a beautiful view of the lake & mountains always keeps us coming back just to chill out & relax. This is the good life!

Perfect

Enjoyed staying there. Everything very clean and updated. Kitchen was well thought out and accommodating. Only Con was the fire pit on the deck was not explained that you could not use it do to fire rules. Found out by security in the middle of a relaying evening but everything else was amazing.

Beautiful lake view

We arrived after dark but had no problem finding the unit. The photos were up to date. We were happy to be together for the Thanksgiving holiday. When we woke the following morning & we were in awe with the gorgeous view of SML. We took a walk throughout the complex, walked to the restaurant Napoli's on the property one night. Chatted with locals. Loved our stay & want to come back during the summer. It was a perfect getaway!

Nice Unit in Clubhouse Towers

Bright, open 2-bdrm unit with easy access just below ground level, and ground-level sliding glass door to patio. Keeps cool in the hot summer. Bay window offers excellent sightline to lake and mountain view, but oddly comes with no window covering, so there is no privacy into the unit through that large window at night. Great location close to tennis/pickleball courts, and main pool/basketball/workout area. Kitchen well-stocked, and other items (laundry pods, dishwasher pods and toilet paper) supplied, but likely won't last you a whole week. Overall, a very nice unit!

Tranquil Relaxation during Off-season

I stayed at this condo for a girlfriend's weekend with a very dear childhood friend. It was perfect for us. We both had trouble finding the building when we arrived, but we arrived at night and it was raining. We felt the buildings need to be labeled better - they had small signs for the unit numbers and the building numbers are painted the same color as the wall. Maybe they are renovating since we came in the off-season and were about to paint them? We had zero trouble getting in and out if the unit with the keypad lock. The host provided great communication before and after (when I thought I left something behind) our stay! They included a few family photos on the walls and it was fun to see the personal touch. The view is outstanding! Plenty of seating options outside. The sofas in the family room were very comfortable. I think I could have slept in the oversized chair all night. The condo was clean, but we did encounter a couple of spiders on the kitchen floor. There was a dead bug under the bed which I only noticed because I dropped my phone. The bedding is on the softer side (which I prefer). The bathrooms were basic and did their function. We were there for the view and conversation with each other! This was my first time in this area. I felt the location would be good for a summer vacation. Stores and restaurants were within a short drive. We drove 35 minutes and walked the trails at Smith Mountain Lake State Park.

Perfect Getaway

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway at Smith Mountain Lake and it was perfect! Sara was great to work with and made sure that we felt welcome. The property was clean, the location is close to the beach, tennis courts, and restaurant (Napoli by the Lake). I honestly can't say anything bad about our stay. I would highly recommend On Lake Time to anyone. We hope to stay here again!

This unit's waterfront location & amazing views (indoor & outdoor)) are arguably one of the best to be found at SML. The close proximity of the boat launch was so convenient & not at all crowded. The courtesy boat docks for use by guests was just steps away from the condo, making it easy to take our boat out several times a day. The condo is just steps away from the waterfront with excellent views of the lake & mountains. The outdoor patio of this ground level (corner) unit provided 3 spacious gathering areas (outdoor pub table/grill & 2 other seating areas with adirondack chairs)-definitely more space than upper level units offer. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need & the owners provide many extra touches such as coffee, a bottle of wine, toiletries, etc. The furniture & beds were comfortable and the condo was plenty spacious for our group of 4.
