Enjoy the smell of crisp ocean air from this luxury loft in the East Mesa neighborhood. Just three blocks away are Shoreline Park and Leadbetter Beach. Walk a tad farther and you’re at the Santa Barbara Harbor where you can book a whale watching tour, rent kayaks, charter a sunset cruise, and choose from a variety of restaurants that are right on the water.

Walk up the cobblestone driveway through lush gardens and bright bougainvillea to a newly built and fully remodeled Mediterranean-style loft apartment. The open concept Kitchen and Living Room are complete with high-end finishes and relaxing decor. The spacious Bedroom includes top-quality linens and an ocean view while the Ensuite Bathroom oozes spa-like vibes. Outside there’s a relaxation pool, lounge chairs, dining space with a mobile grill, outdoor shower, and lawn games. The property also provides two beach-cruiser bicycles to ride down to the beach in style. (Note: There is a separate and private home located on the property).

Wonderful stay

We stayed here for a week, and couldn’t ask for a better place! Spotlessly clean, spacious, good Wi-Fi and great amenities with a jacuzzi outside in the beautiful garden. The host was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We’d love to come back again!

Perfect for SBA Visit

Perfect for our stay in Santa Barbara, visiting our son who lives in Montecito. We rendezvoused downtown/oceanfront for busy days, and in the evenings for satisfying meals, often walking from the house. Returning "home" was like a retreat - private, quiet, clean, and extremely comfortable.

Perfect couples retreat!!

We loved this property and the property manager. It’s the most perfectly sized apartment above the garage on a truly lovely property. The location was so convenient and the electric bikes were so fun to use to zip around. Great grocery and dining options nearby. Had we wanted to cook our own meal we could easily have done so with the fully stocked kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and everything was just perfect. If we can sneak away again to Santa Barbara we definitely would want to stay here again. 10/10 recommend!

Fabulous Place

An incredible and absolutely beautiful rental, both the house and the gardens. It is very comfortable, modern, clean, well equipped and located in a quiet area, yet conveniently located only minutes to the beach, the Funk Zone and downtown SB. Susan is a wonderful host; very friendly, responsive, and helpful. Easy check-in with much appreciated binder with details of the property, including TV, Wi-Fi, washing machine, pool/spa, emergency info, etc. Highly recommend. We can’t wait to return.

Quietness

The property is located in a quiet part of the city, a few minutes from the Shoreline Park. It is very quiet. Susan is very responsive, the instructions are very good and the unit is very well stocked. Excellent place to relax, but also to enjoy what Santa Barbara has to offer. No doubt I will recommend it.

A Wonderful Retreat

This casita provided the most wonderful retreat for us during our stay. You are nestled in the most wonderful garden with beautiful fountains. The interior is beautiful and provides a very comfortable space. You are above the tree line, which bestowed the most amazing views. We loved the area and found a great food market-Lazy Acres. The home is completely equipped with everything you need, and the bed is extremely comfortable. The property owner is so thoughtful. We will definitely return to this special property.

Beat the Heat

We needed to escape the 120 degree heat in Palm Desert. Santa Barbara is showing some wear and tear but still worth visiting and very comfortable. I would characterize this place a "charming" little bungalow. There's an abundance of beautifully flowered gardens and landscape features including a nice, secluded back yard. Also of importance to us was the closeness to the beach bluffs on the north side (4 block walk) All the appliances including a washer and dryer are in the unit. The closeness of the parking on the driveway was appreciated. The owner lives in an adjacent house in case you need anything.
