Welcome to peace and quiet amongst the pines. Here you will find a quintessential mountain chalet where privacy and tranquility are guaranteed. Relax and unwind while encompassed in the natural beauty of Western Maine's landscape.
The English Woods Chalet is located off of The Intervale Road in Bethel. Rolling hills give way to steep mountains, and family farms dot the valley with agricultural fields and land rich with history.
Only 22 minutes from Sunday River Ski Resort, 10 minutes from Mt Abram Ski Resort, and 12 minutes from Bethel Village, the location is convenient for mountain biking and hiking in the summer and skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. Carter's Cross Country Ski Center is a few miles away, and that is a beautiful way to explore the trails and woods in the area.
This home is a tri-level chalet with three living space levels that provide plenty of room. The house is in immaculate condition and has been well maintained by its owners. Features include a new composite deck, a gas fireplace, new furniture, and a bonus rec room in the basement.
Important Notes:
Snow removal: All our homes are contracted with various snow removal companies in the area. This includes plow service and snow shoveling for decks and harder to reach areas.
Smoking: All of our properties are non-smoking.
