Wylie Wabin is nestled on .53 acre just 1 block up from Deka lake with a peakaboo lakeview from the covered deck. Our accommodations are private, clean, and very easy to find and, as the guests, you will have the entire property to yourselves.

This compact refurbished trailer now offers a cozy cabin feel, 385 sqft, is designed for maximum efficiency of space, can sleep up to 4 guests, and offers a cozy retreat when you're not busy enjoying the outdoors.

With a covered deck out front you can enjoy your morning coffee or fire up the BBQ for dinner. Around back, for added privacy, is a large gathering area and campfire pit.

Good little Cabin!

We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was fully stocked. Lots of ameneties at your disposal which was convienent and dog friendly;) Only a little challenge is the attached bathroom was on the exterior so you had to exit the cabin and go over to bathroom. Property was very clean.

great stay

Great communication with the hosts and they made us feel very comfortable and at home! The little fireplace was on to welcome us and there was anything anybody would need to cook (utensils and kitchenware) and and have an enjoyable time (cards, games, DVDs). A bit too cold to use the firepit but the front porch has a table and chairs that we used to enjoy the outside. Super comfy beds! It was a lovely stay and it would be great for families as there was a big grassy area for the kids to enjoy while the parents could sit by the fire..

We are a younger and active pair of empty nesters that enjoy the quiet and scenic Cariboo and area. We love walking our two little dogs, kayaking and swimming at nearby lakes. We also love to travel abroad and experience different cultures and cuisines. We look forward to hosting guests and providing very comfortable accommodations for whatever time you need to experience our beautiful area of British Columbia.

Deka Lake is mix of recreational properties and full-time residences. The summer months bring about an 80% boost to our population. There are miles and miles of quad/snowmobile trails. At the end of the one main road is a short walk to beautiful Sulphurous Lake. Within 10 minutes drive we have the Interlakes Service Centre which includes: Canco gas station, general store and deli counter, laundromat, liquor sales, ice cream and souvenirs at Country Pedlar, Rona building supplies, car wash with sani-dump, and a Cannabis dispensary. 100 Mile House is a 30 minute drive away and has everything to support the Southern Cariboo's population. Lone Butte is about a 25 minute drive and includes much of the same services as Interlakes with a popular pub called The Iron Horse. Bridge Lake is about 15 minutes away with a hiking trail into some ice caves. Just ask, we have good knowledge of the area!

There are several public lake accesses at Deka Lake, several within a very short walking distance from the cabin, one of which is a boat access. The surrounding area offers plenty of hiking and walking trails, but you will need a vehicle. No Uber, taxi or public transit available here.

We are located in the heart of it all at beautiful and pristine Deka Lake. We have fantastic outdoor space for all your summer and winter activities such as fishing, water skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, quading, and dirt biking.
