I’ve got a lot to unpack in this review. We ended up showing up very late in the evening. While it was disclosed that the rental was on the 4th floor, what was NOT disclosed is that there are MANY flights of stairs as the ONLY way to get up to it. NO elevator. Anytime we wanted to go anywhere we had to haul my elderly mother up and down those flights of stairs along with any luggage from traveling across the United States to Florida.Once we entered the rental, we started to explore the two bedroom as we were exhausted. What we found was grimy floors, blood on our sheets, and unwashed sheets with random hairs. To find somewhere else to stay at that time of night was not an option so we decided to clean the rental ourselves. This option opened a whole new can of worms. As we attempted to utilize the washer and dryer, there were moldy pillowcases left in the washing machine. The washer and dryer themselves were filthy. So we had to wipe out the washer before we could even clean the BLOODY sheets and other used sheets. As we were doing laundry, we attempted to look for other cleaning supplies (since the floors were grimy and covered with many many months of filth that we found under the couch, under chair, etc.). Once we got a blanket washed, we threw it on the very worn couch and felt comfortable to now see exactly if we read the reviews of this rental wrong! So much more, not enough characters to write.
