vacationer. Driftwood Cottage is located on the first floor of a three-story,

six-unit building and possesses a refined style and designer touches. With

exceptional views, location and privacy, this home features the finer points

of a great vacation.

Enjoy the comforts and convenience of an oceanfront beach retreat. Savor the

beautiful sunrises watching the dolphins with morning coffee or afternoon

cocktails overlooking the ocean on the large deck off the living room and

master bedroom. While steps to the beach and a short walk to local dining and

shopping, Driftwood Cottage is also within a block of Carolina Beach Lake

Park, an 11-acre freshwater lake, where there is a lovely walking trail

surrounding the lake, children's story walk, paddleboats, and a summer

farmers' market. If you choose to dine-in, you can pick-up local produce or

prepared meals made with North Carolina farmed fruits and vegetables, from the

family-owned Veggie Wagon, just a block away. Enjoy an evening stroll on the

vintage Carolina Beach Boardwalk. After Memorial Day, the town hosts beach

fireworks every Thursday night, which can be seen from the deck or the sandy

beach steps away.

Driftwood Cottage offers all the comforts of home including a washer/dryer,

smart TV, wireless internet and Alexa devices for easy control of lighting and

music throughout the home. If you must work while at Driftwood Cottage, both

bedrooms are equipped with unique two-tiered folding desks. A linen and towel

package is included, making your stay feel like home away from home.

Driftwood Cottage, Unit 1D in the Sands III Complex has an outdoor shower and

shallow pool, making it an excellent spot for teaching children to swim. The

home has two reserved outdoor parking spaces.
