Holiday Ski Trip

Loved the location, property was excellent. We would carry our skis to the back door and put them on and ski the Moose Mountain access - right to the ski hills. Highly recommend!

Hillside Chalet

Had a great time at Hillside Chalet. It was beautifully decorated roomy and clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you might need. There is a wonderful view on the deck with plenty of seating, loved having coffee out there in the morning. We found lots to do including shopping, a tram ride up the mountain, a winery down the road with live music and lots of hiking and fantastic views. I would highly recommend Hillside Chalet.

Very clean, super cute, well stocked kitchen, amazing location and ideal unit for large group.

The space was very clean and bathrooms were pristine. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. There’s a lovey little welcome basket with a few goodies when you first walk in. Four clean and stocked bathrooms made it easy to share the space with our large group. Plus there’s privacy with a main floor between the 2 levels. The flooring and furniture all appeared updated and in great condition. The location was perfect, just a short walk up the hill to the pools, alpine slide and gondola. There’s a spot across the parking lot for firewood, and even a little storage room right outside the front door that was also in great condition and clean. We had a small hiccup and the owners were promptly responsive and Great to work with from them beginning- sending us a lot of great info and making the check in/ check out process seamless and easy. I’d recommend this unit to any large family or group of friends who want a clean, well decorated, and comfortable place to stay. It was too-notch (and I’ve got a critical eye on me from years as a mystery shopper). Our favorite places to go with the kids (besides what I posted is up the hill) is Agate Beach, grand Marais- walking out to the lighthouse, tettegouche and Gooseberry falls. We also had a ton of fun just hanging around the lodge playing some games and watching a movie in the evenings. Restaurants in Duluth that I’d recommend on the drive to and from Lutsen mountain is 1- Deluth Grill (only open till 3pm) and 2-the Pharm Kitchen and Juice Bar. I’d also recommend bringing plenty of bug spray and stuff for big bites. The gnats were awful outside and of course mosquitos. It was great. You can’t go wrong with this unit or Lutsen mountain! Have a great time :-)

Girls Weekend

Such a lovely place to stay!! Perfect for a girls trip or multi-family vacation in beautiful northern Minnesota!! The views are amazing of Lutsen mountain and fun to see the deer wander right by your deck!! Looking forward to returning in the fall to see the changing of leaves or winter to do some skiing!! Lots of good restaurants in the area, as well as a lovely winery!

Fantastic place to stay!

We had a fabulous time!! The hosts are super accommodating. The villa is gorgeous!! The views are second to none. Super clean, decor is wonderful, comfortable beds, luxurious baths, great kitchen - it’s all here! We enjoyed sone beautiful hikes during the day and loved coming back to the villa in the evenings. Highly recommend!!

What a wonderful get away…and a fabulous place to stay!! If you’re looking for a girls trip or family gathering…this is an ideal place!! The views of Lutsen mountain and deer wandering just outside your window…who could ask for more!! I’m SO looking forward to booking this for a Fall or Winter place to bring my family!! Fabulous restaurants in the area, as well as a lovely winery…more reasons to book this townhouse!!

Awesome accommodation s!

This place is absolutely stunning! We walked in and it was like a super luxurious atmosphere. Kitchen has everything from blender to dishwasher. Nice deck with a grill that we used. Ate out on the deck overlooking Moose Mountain. Bedrooms are al super clean and comfortable with very nice clean bathrooms. We had a fire going in the big stone fire place! We walked to the gondola and took it up and hiked going down. Views are amazing! Swimming pool and hot tub are walking distance. We went to the Winery 1 mile down the road and had dinner in Grand Marais. It was only 3 days but felt like a week! I would definitely go back and I recommend this place to anyone!
