Fort Point Cottage is a 100-year old colonial home located on Bay Street in the centre of Dunmore Town.
‍In 2015, the home underwent a complete restoration that included the addition of two new outbuildings, a swimming pool, and well-appointed landscaping.
‍Fort Point Cottage is the ideal way to experience the warmth of the sun — and people — of the Bahamas. Your memories await on Harbour Island.

* All Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday
* All Bookings are a 7 day minimum, except for Christmas and New Years.
* Christmas and New Years is minimum 2 week booking.

Absolutely gorgeous property and as someone who visits Harbour often, one of the best on the island (especially for sunsets!). Would absolutely recommend staying here. Everything was in good shape and the beds are comfy. Would also say there was limited noise (roosters, golf carts, etc).

Perfect for a large family!

We have stayed at multiple properties on Harbour Island and Fort Point has become our new favorite. Peter, the property manager, was very responsive and helped when the generator went out, even late in the evening. The location was perfect and the house was supplied with everything we could need for a week long stay. We will definitely be back!

Lovely Stay in Beautiful Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to families or couples who are seeking a spacious home in the middle of the action! The home is very well maintained, clean and beautifully decorated. The house manager is fantastic and very responsive. Sunsets from the porch overlooking the harbour were fantastic. My husband and I both agreed it was one of our favorite rentals we have ever stayed in!

perfectly located, beautiful BRI cottage

Just a beautifully restored charming historic cottage/compound right on the point in Dunmore Town. The house is very well designed and provides each of the guests with their own space with lovely clean cosy bedrooms. The central entertaining/dining/kitchen space was lovely to hang out in as was the porch - ideal for watching island life go by and also gaze out over the turquoise waters. Highly recommend for group/families. Have rented houses in Harbour Island for over a decade and this is my favorite by far! Thank you.

Great house, poor management

House is wonderful, great location, and configured well for a small group. Communication with the host was poor; property manager was good, but could only fix issues he could personally fix. The house was without hot water in 3 of 4 structures for our entire 2 week stay. AC was out in the master bedroom for the entire stay. The rest of the staff was great. I know it’s the Bahamas, but I expected the property manager to make some attempt at fixing no hot water for two weeks.
