We had a great experience with our stay. Brian was very welcoming and available if we ever needed anything. Extremely quiet location with close proximity to town and the lake. The home has a great outdoor area and everything inside is labeled and user friendly. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

LOVE this VRBO!

This was my second stay at this home, and just like the first time, the home was squeaky clean, well stocked and so warm and inviting. And once again, the hosts were super responsive and awesome! Sadly, I had to cut my trip short this time, but I will never stay anywhere else when I am traveling in the area!

This house was fully stocked, with board games, spice rack, everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The backyard was beautiful and the proximity to the lake was great.

Family Visit

The home is very nice and nicely equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Would stay again. I was there to visit my mom and be able to cook for her and have family over without upsetting her home.

Well stocked

Bedrooms large, beds comfortable, well stocked, helpful notes, labels, and directions. Much less guessing than other places we've stayed. Had a small entourage for a graduation celebration. Plenty of room to spread out ! BBQ clean and ready to be used, including utensils! All as we hoped. Thank you for making our graduation weekend easier.

Comfortable property at the edge of the woods

Clean and comfortable property near town that met all our needs. Indoor or outdoor entertaining depending upon the weather. We were two adult couples. Well supplied with everyhing except a good wine corkscrew... which we fortunately carried. Deer most often seen on trips into town. Would choose this place again.

Super close to the access to Shasta Lake recreation area. Lots of widelife around - we saw a couple of deer and a flock of turkeys. Access to hiking (snow and rain when we were there so we didnt get to do that unfortunately). House is very comfortable and well equipt. Bed was comfortable. Place to park a boat (contact owner for details) and house has a gun safe one can use for hunters. Owners are great communicators and answer questions and concerns quickly. Easy access to Redding as well as Shasta Lake. Home has starlink so internet is good. We would be happy to return to this house in the future.

Amazing Property & Even more amazing Host!

Our company booked this property for some meetings in the area with clients. We can not say how happy our stay was at this beautiful home. The entire property inside and out was clean and orderly. The outside grilling area was perfect. Above all, the communication with the host was amazing! Immediate response, called back quickly if a voicemail was left. We even had to extend our stay and the process was so simple and easy because of the host. We will stay at this location again when we come to the area, can't say enough good things about it. Oh and the area is beautiful, that was just an added bonus!

Our Shasta lake city Vacation

This house was so spacious and clean,we were all very comfortable and slept really well. Its like being in the county and mountains at the same time. The outdoors was so nice and beautiful Thats where we ate most our meals. Its was nice and warm. Theres so much to do out there. We all had so much fun, We walked the sun dial bridge at night, we walked the shasta dam at sunset. We also went to the shasta cavern all right therelike 20 min from the house. .Great fun hope to vacation out there again.

Wonderful Home!!!, Awesome Owners!!!

I have stayed in a lot of VRBO's over the years, and this lovely home is my favorite that I've ever stayed in!!! The location is so quiet and private, and the home was so spotless and clean! What a breath of fresh air, since most VRBO's leave a lot to be desired when it comes to being clean! It was so well stocked with all the things needed, plus some nice extras that you seldom get. And the bed in the master bedroom is the MOST comfortable bed I have ever slept in...anywhere, home included! And the owners are absolutely awesome! Great communication and so available if you need them! When you combine all these things with the location so close to beautiful Shasta Lake and all the scenic beauty around Redding, you simply beat this VRBO!!! I will most certainly be back!!!

This was our first vacation house rental and this property worked out well for myself, my wife, 2 sons, sister-in-law, and nephew to enjoy a relaxing vacation together. (The kids were 8yrs, 6yrs, and 2 months) There was plenty of space for us all to be comfortable without being on top of each other, and with the kids and age ranges involved this was a key win. The arcade game was a huge success with the older kids, and the host went the extra mile to make things extra welcoming for them. Everything about this location is clean, comfortable, inviting, and represented accurately in the description. (I loved using the Bar B Que and soaking up the environment outside.) The location is far enough removed from the city that you can enjoy being surrounded by beautiful trees and the sounds of nature but close enough that you can easily run to the store if you need something. The host was very helpful and communicative regarding all aspects of the rental experience. We will definitely stay here again.
