プロパティは、カリブ海の素晴らしい景色を望むフラードーサ湾の丘のふもとにあります。
マホガニーの木々に囲まれたこのアパートは、大きな二重の家の2つのうちの1つです。どちらにも2つのレベルと個別の入り口があります。
上の階には専用のデッキがあり、湾を眺めて日の出を楽しむのに最適です。そして、クイーンサイズのベッドとハーフバスを備えたベッドルーム。
下の階には、日光浴に最適な西に面した日当たりの良い広々としたデッキがありますが、夜に天体を観察するのに理想的な場所に変わります。 数え切れないほど多くの流れ星が見えます。 ベッドルームにはツインサイズのベッド2台、居心地の良いリビングルームと設備の整ったキッチンのあるオープンプラン、シャワー付きの3/4バスがあります。

Good place to stay in Culebra

The place is well located being a little away from the town, but close enough by car, 5 minutes. The house itself could use a little updating. The two rooms are kind of small and very tight with the beds. The outdoors deck is beautiful! Lots of mosquitoes in the house. Outdoors could use more lighting as it’s very dark at night. Overall this was a good stay.

Beautiful

Great views from both decks but especially loved the deck attached to the upper bedroom!! Clean, had most everything we needed & the host was very helpful!! Thank you for a really great stay, we loved your place!!

Quiet with a great view

The upper deck is the standout feature of this house, offering a gorgeous view of the sea. We spent hours reading there and watched birds and boats come and go. It's far enough away from the center of town to be quiet yet close enough to make a quick run from groceries. We look forward to returning.

Beautiful view

The views from the balconies were absolutely beautiful. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom all I can say is be careful they have very narrow treads and easy to fall down. Otherwise the stay was awesome.

Feeling relaxed

We enjoyed our stay. Great view of the bay. The owners son was fantastic in giving details about the town. We made friends with two birds who live above the deck. The only two issues, and they aren’t really issues, are there isn’t a microwave for a quick reheat of leftovers and some of the snorkels need to be replaced. We would stay here again.

Pure Relaxation

This little gem is a little piece of heaven on earth. The unit is simple, clean and nicely appointed for your stay. The host gave great suggestions for restaurants and where to find things on the Island. Very conveniently located and with great views of the bay. We rented a jeep to explore all the beaches on the island, went to a different one every day of our stay. If you want a place to decompress and fully relax of your busy work life this, is it. Absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience!

The property was exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were lovely and communicative, the house was clean and comfortable. The upper deck afforded views that cannot be beat. The only minor complaint is that the steps (of which there are many) are very dark at night. We used our cell phones, but a small light would be a welcome addition. Overall, our visit to Culebra was wonderful and if we have a chance to return , we would happily rent from Eckard again.

Paradise!

Couldn’t recommend Eckards property more. Both bedrooms have air conditioning for your late evenings and sleeping. Fridge, freezer, toaster oven, full oven, and stove top. Full range of kitchen equipment to make dinners at home instead of blowing $$$ going out. The decks are fantastic to lounge out on and dry your beach clothes etc out on. He has beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler you can borrow which was an amazing perk - not having to buy them or rent them for a weeks time. Very reasonably priced rental compared to everything else on the island. Would 100% stay here again!

It needs some minor changes

The views are amazing starting from the drive there all the way to the decks on both the lower and upper level decks (yes there are two!). This was my second time staying in Culebra, I am Puerto Rican so I usually stay on the mainland. The place has a good amount of space for a family of four or even a group of three friends. However, the mattresses are rock hard so they weren't the most comfortable to sleep on. The only room with "air conditioning" is the room in the upper level with the queen sized bed and you can hardly feel the room cool down I don't know if it's because the unit isn't powerful enough or because it's blowing in the direction of the stairs. The downstairs bedroom with the two twin beds only had an outdated fan so it was muggy and humid. It isn't located too far from any thing so that was a plus and you're surrounded by other vacationers. Make sure you bring or buy OFF! (bug spray for your skin) because there are lots of mosquitoes. Overall if it would've had more air conditioning units and softer beds it would be a nice place to stay in, maybe newer bed sheets and more bug repellent precautions as well. Thank you to the owners for being diligent about sending the stay information and replying to my messages!

Beautiful view with a nice breeze.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We would recommend because of cleanliness, accessibility and supplies in the house were great. It was nice to have a washer and dryer, laundry soap, dish soaps, hand soaps, cleaning supplies, beach chairs, boogie board, and blow dryer. All of these extras make this stay much more comfortable. Thank you so much!

We loved staying at this quaint, lovely home for a week while relaxing and enjoying the many beaches of Culebra. The location was perfect; amazing sunrise view overlooking the water. That view would never get old! Frankie was very friendly and very helpful -- thank you so much for sharing your little slice of heaven with us! If we are blessed to come back, we would definately stay here again!

Charming tree house

Loved staying at this property. Gorgeous view from the top deck perfect for morning yoga, daytime reading and evening drinks. The apartment is charming and very well equipped - has everything you need, including some snorkel gear. Property owners were there and were extremely nice and helpful during our stay. Only complaint was that the wi-fi was out for most of the time we were there, but it was out on the whole island so not particular to this property.

Nice house but need maintenance

The house is big and amazing terrazas with beautiful views to the bay. 30min walking to the village and 15min to the restaurants. One of them, the most popular in the island. The house needs some maintenance in general. In the bedroom downstairs the AC stopped working the 2nd night and no body came to fixed it. It was very hot I had to give our fun to my son. In our bedroom upstairs there is a nice breeze if you open the door but then the mosquitoes will eat you right away! The bedroom is tiny and the AC is on the floor looking to the stairs that takes you to the ground floor which means that the cool area is just where the stairs are!!! There were two days with summer storms and water was dropping from the floor in three different spots in the leaving room! The kitchen well equipped. Hard to communicate with the host. He responded days after. He was nice to letting us do a late chek-out and also offer to sleep in the other house because the AC...but we didn't use it. My son didn't want to sleep alone. As I said, very nice and beautiful but it needs some maintenance.

Paradise!

Great place to stay! Clean, nice kitchen and living area. One bedroom upstairs and one downstairs each with air conditioning and an awesome deck withview of the ocean. We cooked most of our meals and had everything we needed.

Lovely location and view

The location is just right-down the road from the downtown section so it's easy to get to, but not congested. You'll need either a jeep or a golf cart. Everything on the island is relatively close, but varies in whether or not it's walkable. Regarding COVID, no worries, everyone who was from there was great with masks, social distancing, etc.-- variable with the other tourists especially the social distancing part. The highlight of the unit for us was the upper deck off the bedroom. It had a great view and was nice and breezy so fewer bugs. We had a bit of a problem with no-see-ums, but that's the Caribbean. The Wi-Fi was very good, especially for the region. My only other feedback is to have a better way of getting the owner rather than going through the app. We had trouble getting the key out of the container and did solve it, but it would have been nice to have had a number to call.

location location location

great spot, 20 minute walk to town, 30 minute walk to playa punta del soldado, which became a favorite beach for tanning & snorkelling. great house w/views of the bay & surrounding hills. we only used the fans for comfortable sleeping. very functional kitchen, clean bathrooms. eating on the lower deck, yoga on the upper deck, all contributed to our relaxing vaca. highly recommend this place

A comfortable house with a great view

We enjoyed our stay and the place had all we needed including a friendly cat and a tuneful rooster. A leak from the balcony railing support into the living room in a heavy rainstorm did little to dampen our enjoyment. Spare lightbulbs would be a useful aditionn

Culebra Retreat

It was a treat to return to Playa Sardinas II After 25 years. We brought our children here when they were small and now we were fortunate enough to bring our grand child this year. It brought back a flood of great memories. It felt like we were returning home after a long absence. The house has a welcoming vibe. The large decks make eating outside a pleasure. The house is a short distance from the downtown and is quiet and private with a spectacular view of the entrance to the harbor with all the varied boat traffic which is always interesting . The house is well equipped. There are chairs for the beach and you are on Culebra. The Jewel of the Caribbean..

Beautiful view and wonderful place to stay.

Our stay at Eckard's place was excellent. Eckard had excellent communication and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The view of the bay from the unit was breathtaking. I loved watching the stars at night and local roosters who visited us each morning. I found the unit to be comfortable and it had everything we could possibly need including supplies for the beach. We hope to stay again.

The beaches are beautiful, the community is friendly and bilingual, and the island is easy to reach. Our neighborhood is one of the oldest on Culebra, known for its wooden homes on stilts, sea breezes, and peaceful atmosphere. It’s close to town but far enough to feel like a true retreat.
