Calling all anglers! This 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath vacation rental is the perfect home base for all of your fishing needs. The home is nestled along the White River and steps away from boat access. If you’d rather keep your feet on land, traverse the nearby trails through the beautiful Ozark Mountains! After a successful day outdoors, head home and prepare a hearty meal in the kitchen before playing a round of catch with your four-legged friend in the yard or unwinding with a book on the balcony.

Great location. My husband had actually fished the public access as a child and it was so nice to be right there with family and friends. The layout of the house made it comfortable to split up for two families.

Beautiful home

House was very spacious and beautiful. The only thing is for our fellow flat landers (we're from south Louisiana) the drive there and the driveway was rough but that's the beauty of the location. They only people we seen while staying was the boaters below the property which was no bother to us. Beautiful home and beautiful property

The house was great. Family of 4 fishing trip. House had everything you needed for a comfy stay. Cold air, hot water, views. It rained and the river was high while we were there. We still caught fish and saw a ton of wildlife. House is about 15 minutes from Nimas pizza. Boat ramp below the house was great. We would stay again.

This was exactly what we were looking for. Dusty was wonderful to work with too! Kids fished right from the boat ramp and caught supper. At a dead end road, kids could run and enjoy themselves and we made s’mores in the fire pit. Great stay and would highly recommend. We will be back!

Nice Scenic Spot

Nice property in a quiet area overlooking the river. You can walk down and across the front yard to access the White River Ranchette public access boat launch which also has a small area where you can fish off the river bank. Pretty limited cell service (which was great) around the immediate area unless you are connected to the home wifi. House was as advertised with an easy check in process and my grandkids had a ball chasing lizards around the yard. Good place to hide for a few and relax with about a 15 minute drive to a few decent swimming and fishing areas including Bull Shoals lake.

Spacious

This property is located right on the White River, so it’s perfect for fisherman and outdoorsman. The listing should be amended to say not handicap accessible. The bedrooms listed as “ground floor” are only accessible if you go around the house and down a hill or down a spiral staircase. The two bedrooms on the third floor are accessible via staircase. The overall cleanliness was lacking as there was dust and cobwebs everywhere. There are several pieces of furniture and appliances that should be replaced as they are outdated or broken. Also, the home used to house a cat as there is a cat door leading to the garage as well as litter box in the garage. This may be a concern if you have allergies as I do. We liked that there was enough space to enjoy each other’s company without tripping over one another. Based on accessibility, cleanliness and allergy issues we would not book here again….but this property is ideal for fishermen wanting easy access to the River.

Family fishing

Home was a great set up for our families! The main living area was very spacious and the view from the decks was fabulous. Could have used a few more chairs for dining otherwise it was wonderful. Kids could run and play, took a few hikes and found a small cave. We were close to some great fishing spots on the White River!

Fantastic Stay

We were so excited to stay here! My husband grew up down the road and when we came back to visit we were so excited to get to see the white house that he only saw from the Ranchette access. This house is a tiny bit famous I think for that reason. The inside was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the views were gorgeous. Every morning was coffee on the porch overlooking the river.

Home needs a deep cleaning, updated mattresses, and more towels. It was stocked with plenty of kitchen items, utensils, pots-pans, etc... The spiral staircase leading downstairs is very narrow and dangerous for children and older adults. House is also a little creepy/scary if you get into that kind of vibe. The owner was very pleasant and easy to work with solving any issues that arose.

Beautiful views, but needs some help

There were several things about this home that I wish were different. The refrigerator has an issue where it was constantly leaking and creating a pool of water at the bottom that needed to be drained. The coffee pot stopped working on the 1st day there and we were missing several linens. After being contacted, they did send more linens and pillows which we appreciate it. Overall, the home is very nice, great views of the river and perfect place for kids to run around. I would suggest that they invest in some more kid friendly/baby gate equipment, since it is a very spacious place for a large family. Just needs some TLC for future guests.

Just What we needed!

This is a terrific location and very comfortable. We are locals, needed space for our five children and significant others for Spring break. Was not over decorated, simple and clean. Beds were great! Highly recommend!

Thanksgiving Getaway!

Every year we choose a different destination to spend our family Thanksgiving. This home provided us space and comfort! We were within walking distance of the river and trout fishing. I would highly recommend this unit for a large or small group seeking the comforts of home and access to nature.
