Enjoyed our stay at Jacob's Well, had everything you would need.

Had enough room for everyone and then some. Fully stocked kitchen with pretty much anything you needed.

Always the family favorite trip of the year!

The house is set up great for two families...parents each have a private bedroom with king bed and there are 6 single beds (2 in each room) for the kids. A great setup for families vacationing together!

Bethel Conference

It was a nice spacious place for us (9 women) to come and enjoy the bethel conference. I love that it had beds and not just pull-out sofa beds for each of our members who stayed. We had a mom, and her daughter stay in one room, but the rest of us, eight, had a bed to ourselves.

Okay stay

The house seemed to be in the process of being updated or remodeled, but not complete. Some parts of the house look fresh and new, other parts look old and rundown. It was nice to have a pool, but the yard, fence, patio should all be updated. It was like swimming in a pool from 1978.

Mah Jong Girls Getaway

For the seven of us, visiting a friend who had moved to Redding, this spacious home near hers was ideal. With the greenbelt behind the house, home to deer and wild turkeys, that Jacob's Well is a minute off the freeway and around the corner from shopping seems impossible. The kitchen is exceptionally well outfitted with several types of coffee makers and even coffee provided! The pool is very inviting and looks out on the greenbelt. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful and guests are cautioned to keep it so! We were there to visit and play games. We brought out own but the hosts even provided games and books. We were able to be together when we wanted and spread out when we wished. Our stay was most comfortable and enjoyable.

Mediocre Stay

The premises seemed like a hodgepodge of mixed design and accoutrements. Some glassware was chipped and resulted in a cut finger. The bedding only included the bottom bed sheet and the comforters offered were made with synthetic materials resulting in an itchy sleep. BBQ was located some 60 feet away that included traversing two sets of stairs through the rear of the garage. BBQ was a cheap off brand that demanded close monitoring to avoid overcooked food. As an example, the propane burners continuously flared regardless of heat setting. The BBQ should be replaced. The bathrooms are cramped and most likely not constructed to code. Elderly guests will have issues. The bedrooms were adequate in size and can easily accommodate the recommended number of guests.
