Cozy Guesthouse Close to Ski Hill, Nelson, and Ainsworth!

Kick back and relax in this newly renovated guesthouse. Have the entire home to yourself complete with kitchen, full bath and living area. The kitchen includes an air fryer oven, induction stovetop, Keurig coffee maker and fridge. The bathroom features a brand new rock and tile rain shower.
Only a 5 min walk to 6 mile beach, 12 km to downtown Nelson, 33 km to Whitewater Ski Resort and 36 km to Ainsworth Hot Springs.

This is a studio with kitchen, bed, bathroom and living area. The kitchen is equipped with an induction stove, air fryer oven, fridge, Keurig coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, knives, cutlery, dishes, corkscrew, and glasses.
The living area has a Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. There is a desk/workspace available.

Lovely cozy guest house! It was perfect for our little family of 3. We stayed 3 nights and had everything we needed. Location was great to get into Nelson and some of the surrounding areas. Great communication, clean and comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

Check in and communication was very simple. The host answered very promptly. The only surprise was with the description saying a one bedroom. I anticipated a main room with a bedroom, but it is a studio with all accessories in the one main room. The AC was much appreciated for our visit. Great stay overall.

Very clean and cozy, mattress is excellent, thoughtful touches like real cream in the fridge for coffee. Perfect place to stay without the typical neighbour noise you get from above, below and side in a hotel or motel as it is a free structure all to yourself. Look forward to my next stay here.

Comfortable and Clean

Enjoyed the 2 night stay. The description mentions a 1 bedroom but it is a suite. The beds are comfortable, the little kitchen is well stocked and everything is super clean and fresh. A short drive to Nelson.

Perfect place to lay our heads

We were taking an Avalanche course in Nelson area for 3 days, so it was a perfect place just to lay our heads. It’s definitely small for 2 people and a bunch of snow gear, but it’s got all that you need. The owner is always friendly and quick to reply.

Great place for young family but awkward and small in design.

Overall it was clean and welcomThe listing was as stated but it was still smaller than what we expected. The words were true about sleeping arrangments for 4. As a studio there are no rooms for privacy or to change. It said one room so we expected the bedroom to be separate. There is no table to eat at or play board games but we used the futon collapsed to play games and sat on the floor. It looked like 2 beds and a couch in pictures but they changed bedding to look like 2 queen beds were available. Very tight for 2 adults and 2 teens. kitchen was minimalistic but equipped well. Bed was comfortable. When the futon is open there is not room to open the door without moving it back into the living room more. When you open the fridge door people cant get in and out of the bathroom. The shower is raised up and anyone over 5’10 has to crouch or bend knees so their head doesnt hit the roof. There is no fan in the bathroom or kitchen so water builds up on the windows and needs to be wiped or it drips. The microwave power bar/fuse kept popping when we rejeated food. We figured it out and had to turn the lamp off when using microwave and also ensure no phones were charging. I wouldnt say it is a full bathroom as it stated it was a full bathroom without a tub. The kitchen sink was very small and dished were hard to wash. The driveway was narrow and 2 times during our stay it was blocked and we had to reverse out. Once the owners moved their car.

Very clean and cozy. Too small for us, especially bathroom (shower stall and toilet). Ok for just spending the night, comfortable bed.

All we needed

A comfortable, cosy space. Has everything you need. Best for two people, as four would be cramped. A perfect place if all you need is a clean, comfortable spot at the end of a day of activities. Very short drive (about 10 minutes) to get to downtown Nelson. Have zero complaints.

Fantastic little suite!

The perfect little place to stay! The hosts offered everything you could need and it was such a cozy little suite. Separate from the main house, it had a nice deck that unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy much due to the rain but I would definitely stay here again!

Private and comfortable

Cozy suite with everything we needed. Simple, charming decor. Nice little patio. Took a nice walk down to the beach for a swim in Kootenay Lake. 10 min drive from town on the beautiful winding road of the north shore to get to the cabin just adds to the experience.
