We thoroughly enjoy our time at Casa Manzanilla. We especially loved the common areas which were open and inviting. In the late evenings, we gathered around the large table to play games and laugh. The view and pool were what made our stay all the more special! Absolutely amazing!My favorite Vrbo rental so far. Wishing for another trip here! Thank you so much...a perfect vacation stay.

Family vacation in paradise

The property was everything we could have wanted for our vacation. The place was beautiful inside and out. Great views with a great pool. The house was gorgeous and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay, kitchen was well appointed. Property management was extremely helpful and quick to respond before and during our stay. We couldn’t be happier with our stay

Great house & location!

We had a great stay! The view is incredible and the outdoor patio space is fantastic with high quality furniture. The beds are comfortable. We loved the location and proximity to Red Hook.

3 generation vacation

Stayed one week at this beautiful home. You would never have to leave if you wanted to just visit and play in the pool all day. Incredibly well stocked if you desired to cook or grill. Fully gated and secure. Beautiful view!

incredible views and location

We had an incredible week in St Thomas with our family. The house is in an excellent location, close to restaurants, beautiful beaches and the ferry to St John. We loved hanging out on the deck enjoying the pool and the view. The house was very well supplied including the fully stocked kitchen. Awesome house with off grid solar power!

This house is beautiful with amazing views. The utility power on St. Thomas went out several times while we were there, but we had power the whole time thanks to the big solar array and big battery bank that it has. We never lost power once in that house!

This property was great! We loved the whole house and the view! The ground were pretty, with plenty of patio furniture. Very close to the Red Hook area with many restaurants and bars close. The house was well stocked with little things we needed. We will be back for sure!

St Thomas Gardens with a Spectacular View

Oh my! Beautiful grounds and views of St John and the BVI. Relax poolside or create a gourmet meal with lots of essentials. Seating for our family of 7. We enjoyed our time together in a picturesque location!

VRBO experience

The property had great amenities/accommodations with very nice views and my family thoroughly enjoyed the property and short drive to the beaches. Management was fantastic. The main issue was the extremely misleading listing by VRBO. I rented the property based on VRBO indicating a walk to the beach of 1 minute and 15 minutes. Neither was true!

Friends vacation get away

The home was beautiful, pool was great and kitchen had everything we needed. We had some issues in master bedroom with water temperatures making it difficult to shower. Our host communicated with us daily and sent plumber to assess and assist. We had 8 of us staying and plenty of spaces to gather, play cards or read. Overall we all would recommend this home.

Amazing views, perfect layout

Our first family vacation where each of our 3 kids brought their significant others. Upon arrival the courtyard was full of flowers, and was very lush and private. Immediately upon entering the home we saw the beautiful pool and views of Red Hook, St John and beyond, even more stunning than the pictures in the ad. We travelled as a group of 8, and there was ample space for all in the kitchen/dining room and living room, as well as outside areas on the large deck and patio. We were impressed by cleanliness, the decor of each space, and the bathrooms were spa-like. We enjoyed the outdoor shower also. Everyone truly enjoyed our stay and and we'd certainly consider booking again here. We highly recommend this property.

Great property and a great location

Spent a week at Casa Manzanilla with our family and had a great stay. The location five minutes from Red Hook was perfect for us. The pool was awesome and the place was clean. There was a sufficient amount of cooking utensils, a couple decks of cards and plenty of books to keep us busy. There were a couple of snorkeling kits in the laundry room however, we brought our own, so didn’t need them. Didn’t realize it from the listing, but the downstairs bedroom has an attached office that is separate from the rest of the residence which might be handy for some. Management was super responsive and quick to respond to all questions. Would definitely rent again if the situation presented itself.

Family Get Together in StThomas

Everything was beautiful, the house, the pool and the views. We were the elderly, parents-grandparents and needed something to hang on to in the shower. It was so big. Took a long time to get hot water to start. Couldn't figure out to work some of the appliances. Everything else was fine.

Great location and stunning view!

We spent a week with our family at this property for this years early Christmas celebration. We were six adults and two children ages 3 & 4. There was plenty of room for us all to fit comfortably. The kitchen and dining area are very spacious where we spent a few evenings cooking and dining in. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed the view of the Red Hook harbor and St. John! The deck and pool area were actual larger than we expected from the pictures! You could actually spend everyday lounging on the deck and in the pool if you didn’t feel like venturing out! But of course we did and enjoyed visiting several of the beaches that were a short 5-10 minute drive away. If your going to venture out, we strongly suggest going by car, but be careful driving due to the condition to the road leading to the property and there really isn’t much of a shoulder either. Justin the property manager was great to work with and very responsive. To sum it all up, if we plan another trip to St. Thomas we would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely Perfect!

We recently stayed at Casa Manzanilla in the Nazareth/Red Hook neighborhood of St. Thomas, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the ocean and nearby islands.The house itself is incredibly spacious, allowing everyone in our group to relax and spread out comfortably. The living areas are well-appointed and inviting, making it a fantastic space for gathering. We particularly enjoyed the pool, which provided a refreshing escape from the tropical heat, and the outdoor shower was an absolute highlight.The property is wonderfully equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay. The kitchen very well equipped and the house has a gas grill. Additionally, the location of Casa Manzanilla is ideal. It’s conveniently close to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and beautiful beaches, yet offers a private atmosphere. The property management staff were extremely helpful, responsive, and ensured our stay was enjoyable. Whether we had questions or needed assistance with anything, they were always just a phone call or text away.Our experience at Casa Manzanilla was absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect vacation rental in St. Thomas.

Lovely View of Muller Bay

We stayed her for a 5 night 6 day visit of St. Thomas. We had 5 adults and 1 child and the location was convenient to Red Hook restaurants, shops, and our excursion pick ups. They home was decorated beautifully in a coastal chic motif. Having a pool on site was fantastic and we took advantage of this and the spacious and private property. Some appliances, like the microwave and stovetop were a bit testy when operating. Additionally, this house did not have central AC and some areas were open to the outside making the house difficult to cool with the mini split units. There were also various bugs and lizards found daily inside of the residence due to the openness to the outside. For larger families, there was not enough seating for dining or living room seating beyond six people. To note, only one TV is available in this house and it was located in the living room. We also experienced several unannounced home service visits, including yard workers and a pool maintenance person. To add, the inside of the home was accessed by someone while we were away as something had been left on the table when we arrived back from our excursion. Overall, this property had a breathtaking view of Red Hook and Mueller Bay and we enjoyed our stay. We would like to suggest better communication from the property manager to house guest about service/maintenance people coming to the property ahead of time.

A Gem

If you're an early bird, this Villa is for you! You will be greeted daily at about 5 am by a chicken that may or may not identify as a rooster. Your feathered alarm clock will make sure you're up in time to make coffee in the fully equipped kitchen in time to watch the breathtaking sunrises from the wide spacious deck. The 8 sliding doors in the living area and dining/kitchen areas open completely to the view of the harbor and the British Virgin Islands. Water is precious on St. Thomas and they ask that you conserve water so to comply, we made a habit of taking couples showers in the wide open, yet private, outdoor shower. Wait, did I say the kitchen was well equipped? It only lacked margarita glasses, however we learned that wine glasses make an adequate substitute and there are a plethora of them. We closed the front sliders and the large sliders courtside around 5:30 to keep any bugs out, but still stayed outside most evenings and never had a problem with any type of insects. The large and handsome dining room table is excellent for card playing (with more drinks of course). The Villa is a mere 5 minutes from Red Hook where you can find numerous lively places to visit. The road up and down from the Villa is narrow and anything but smooth but that's the way the most roads are on the island. We call then "topsy-turvy, twisty-turny, righty-tighty, lefty-loosey." Just remember the St. Thomas matnra... "keep left!"

Amazing views

From the moment you open the doors of the villa and enter, you are welcomed by the most amazing views of St. John, the BVI and Red Hook. The pictures online of the view do not do it justice. To fully experience how amazing the views are, it must be done in person. Whether by lounging on the deck, in the pool, from the kitchen, the bedrooms or in the family room. Most nights were spent with the sliders wide open, enjoying the view, playing Scrabble/cards or swimming in the pool. The interior and deck were well appointed. Thanks to the owner and past guests, the kitchen had just about everything you need to start preparing meals, after a quick trip to the store for food. Addition of a Keuring, separate ice maker and more baking pans would be a nice addition. Towels for the pool/beach were extremely helpful and saved luggage space. The villa is secluded, at the end of a narrow, bumpy dead-end road. Like most areas of St. Thomas other than Charlotte Amalie, the area around the home is not very walkable. So get a car or plan to spend a lot on taxis. Red Hook is a short 5 minute drive away, providing quick access to the ferries, restaurants, bars and shopping. There are 3 really nice beaches within a 10 minute drive and Magens Bay/Charlotte Amalie are both about 25 minutes away. We did experience a couple of issues with the villa (microwave worked intermittently, both umbrellas were broken and the remote and two keypads for the gate weren’t working) that were reported to the management company. None of the issues were fixed and the management company never responded. We also called their emergency line, without getting through or a call back. Communication with the management company prior to the trip took multiple days to get a response. Not very prestigious service. Overall the home is amazing and our trip was amazing.
