Our second year here and had a wonderful time again. Lots to do for all ages. Host was incredibly responsive to anything we needed.Great spot for a family getaway.

Large bright well equipped cottage. Comfortable beds with quality linens. Enjoyed BBQ , gazebo and fire pit. Great view. Large kitchen workspace and table for 8. Port Dover beach is only 30 minutes away.

Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful family Christmas! A 3 bedroom open concept cottage perfect for family dining and family gatherings. Fantastic Lake views and quiet setting… Due to rainy weather we went ice skating at the Cayuga arena, a town with a grocery store, pharmacy, LCBO and restaurants- a short drive. Ideal for a young family or couples get away.

Family Getaway

The property was as advertised, the only issue we had was that the cistern tank ran out of water one afternoon; however, the property owner was responsive and had a water truck on site within two hours.

Located in a quiet area on lakeshore drive, friendly neighbours passing by. Beach is not far, with very little parking.Kitchen is well equipped with glasses & dinnerware, yet missing basic cooking tools.Rental was for 5 adults. We had 2 wash cloths and 5 bathtowels to share for a week long stay. Bring your own beach towels.Listing notes all items we can use ... yet hard to find items amongst the clutter & dirt.To upsetting to continue ....

Great Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed morning drinks on the deck, watching the water while our kids played on the grass out front. Had a great time on the beach and at local restaurants. Enjoyed the firepit every night. It was so convenient to have stakes and a long leash provided for our dog, and the ample green space out back was perfect for our young kids to run around in. Lots of games inside meant they were never bored, even on a rainy day. We truly had everything we needed to have a great family vacation. We hope we'll be able to come back again!

Relaxed, pet friendly and affordable

I wanted a place on the lake and pet friendly and this ticked the boxes. My concern was proximity to the neighbors but that was not an issue at all as people are friendly around here. A lot of the cottages on this strip are also rentals so there aren’t boat neighbours. The beach front is shared so you’re free to walk up and down the beach. The beach is a bit rocky right across the cottage but a few minutes walk down the road is a nice sandy area that everyone can enjoy. There’s a nice big fire pit and you can also make a fire on the beach. The one ac unit was adequate to cool the place if you keep the bedroom doors open during the day, and we had a queen air mattress in the living room area as well. We had plenty of fun with friends the whole week long, with fires and music every night and we didn’t bother anyone. If you need a chill place by the lake that’s pet friendly and affordable, this gets the job done.

Cute cottage with everything you’ll need.

We had a great time. The front porch was perfect for morning coffee and late afternoon cocktails while enjoying great water views . The back yard was great for relaxing after a full day at the beach. We took advantage of the fire pit every evening. We all had comfortable beds and the cottage is open and airy. We have no complaints, we had to contact the owner once and she was so responsive, was there in 30 minutes and took care of a bbq issue. We would definitely return!

Great cottage on the beach

We were in Port Dover for a family wedding and rented this cottage for the Labour Day week-end with my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. The cottage has great amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, had a fire every night. Lots of games in the cottage, very clean. The coffee and espresso maker were a nice addition with a good selection of coffees and teas. Anyone wanting to stay in this area, we recommend this cottage. My only complaint was the windy weather -- very high winds daily. At least they settled for the night so the campfire smoke went straight up!

Great Lake view

Cottage was as expected from the pictures shown. Neighbours were very friendly and helpful. They lent us a ground coffee maker as we did not have pods for the Keurig. They even brought over some dessert. I have an electric bike and rode from one end of Lakeshore road to the other during our stay. Went to the Dragway park and really enjoyed it. The scenery all Lakeshore is beautiful. The girls enjoyed sitting in the sun and reading books. BBQ was used for many meals. Just wish that there were some cabinets in the bedrooms to store clothes and personal items.

Superbe séjour au bord du Lac Erié

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette maison situé au bord du lac Erié. Nous pouvions voir tous les matins les oies prendre leur envol ou barboter dans le lac. L'hote était réactive à nos demandes et l'arrivée s'effectue de façon autonome. Tout était fait pour passer un séjour reposant dans un cadre bucolique.
