Cascades getaway

Our main purpose for staying here was for a home base to get to the Cascades without having to camp. The house was very well appointed with all the kitchen necessities as well as toys and activities for the kids to use inside and out. It was a wonderful place to spend a few days and I would highly recommend it for families.

Great quiet location.

We came for the Tulip festival and this home is in a nice quiet location and can accommodate many guests. We ended up with fewer than expected so didn't really use all the bedrooms. But our experience was very good and would come back. Didn't use the hot tub but it looked nice.

Very nice property

We enjoyed our stay. This is a nice roomy house in an upscale neighborhood of Mt Vernon, it was well stocked and had a nice yard for the kids. We found the bed arrangement different from the listing and one couple had to sleep in twin beds.I emailed the host to request a late check out and never received a reply Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

4th of July

We live in a resort community and frankly get tired of traffic and craziness so it was very nice to come to the quiet side of the state and enjoy fireworks on the beach of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay in Mount Vernon. The house was perfect size we hoped to get a later check out, but we’re unable to Which made our Sunday morning. A little tense but we understood it was a wonderful time. The backyard was great for the kids and playing games.

Large family home

Playhouse was very fun for littles outside! Overall house was clean, comfortable bedding. Having high chair and baby gate was much appreciated. The only complaint was the basement smelt like dog. It is pet friendly but the scent was strong.

Perfect Location

This house was perfect for our stay. The only comment we have is to revise the room layouts to match the actual bed situations, and note the bunk beds. Otherwise it was fantastic!

Had a great, relaxing time with 6 adults and 2 dogs. The wildfire smoke dampened our hiking but the house was a great place to just hang out!

Great stay in Mt Vernon

Was not super fancy, but had a lot of beds. Could accomodate a much larger party than we had. Great neighborhood and a great house for what we needed which was a gathering of family for a bbq. Host was very responsive and house had everything we needed.

Offsite housing for Christmas visitors

Beautiful property, and well stocked with all the basics. We would definitely consider using again for that area.Note to cleaners…the light in the lower level bathroom is filled with bugs and needs attention!

Good spot for family get together

This property suited our large group well. The property manager was very responsive during our visit - they brought by additional kitchen amenities (paper towels, etc) in a matter of hours. The property was as advertised.

Great customer service, pretty home and grounds but some maintenance is needed.

Josie was great in helping take care of us when the brand new furnace was broken by providing us space heaters to stay warm. Overall the stay was nice enough with access to the hot tub, toys, and our basic needs taken care of. Many of the appliances could use some maintenance but it was a good visit. Comfortable beds and furniture.

Great Backyard!

This house was perfect for the needs of our group! The layout and setup of the beds worked great for us. The kids really enjoyed the backyard, especially the hot tub and basketball. They played outside until it was dark! The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking and baking projects. The location was great and allowed us to make trips to Deception Pass State Park (30 min) and go horseback riding at Lang’s Horse and Pony Farm (only 2 miles away!). We loved thoughtful inclusions like many soft cozy blankets throughout the house, and enjoyed watching a Netflix movie on the smart tv!

Great spot with location very close to Skagit River fields which was our destination for the weekend. House was very nice. Roomy. Wish there was a full bath downstairs. How do 4BRs share 2 BA when one bath is inside the master? With very careful planning. Hot tub was awesome. Overall, house worked well for our needs. Notes to make the setup five stars: 1. Master bath toilet squeals.2. Upstairs bathroom door does not stay closed.3. Needed more towels.4. Master bathroom sink “stopper” in sink is not attacked to basin.5. Back right bedroom door does not close.6. Downstairs bathroom doesn’t lock7. Old grill should be removed.

Nice holiday getaway

Our family (6 adults, 3 little dogs) had a nice 4-day stay over Christmas. We wanted a place where we could just chill out, poke around town, and maybe ski or hike. This was just right. Very clean, the kitchen was not gourmet but was nicely equipped (including with basic spices!), and the tile/wood floors were perfect for our little dogs. The neighborhood is pretty upscale, with sidewalks that were prefect for dog walking. At check-in the fancy digital door lock briefly stumped us, but our host was immediately available to walk us through it. The hot tub was spacious, very clean, and easy to use. The furniture was very comfortable -- not dumpy at all, but not too fancy to kick back on.

listing misleading, house needed some repairs

bedroom 2 was suppossed to be a queen and was 2 twins. the bunk beds in the third bedroom were listed as full beds on the bottom and these were twins .there was no sheet for the pack n playthere were things in the house that need repairs

Home Away From Home

This property was perfect for our Home Away from Home while our home is being remodeled. The backyard was perfect for my kids (I bet summer in this house would be great with the Pool). But we utilized the Jacuzzi and Basketball hoop everyday. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed from a huge Pan and all the way down to a small one, a Tea Kettle, Coffee Maker, Air Fryer, etc. There were tons of extra blankets and towels. The decor and cleanliness was outstanding. I felt safe and comfortable. We are staying at this home again now as I write this. Josie is an amazing host. We have stayed at 2 of her homes and will continue to when I need it. 10 outta 10, Highly Recommend!!!

Visit to North Cascades

Nice home with lots of space for a large group. There were 10 of us and had more than enough room. There was a pool, which isn’t in the photos when we booked, so that was a fun surprise and the kids loved it. Plenty of beach towels for the pool/hot tub. Kitchen was a bit sparse if you want to cook but overall has everything we needed. Cute, residential neighborhood that is a short walk to a nice shaded walking/running trail. Less than 10 mins to grocery, Costco, and Target. Home is approximately 1 hour from North Cascades National Park - beautiful views along the way. Had a couple of issues but host/managing company was prompt with their replies. Overall would highly recommend!!!

Nice home in Mt. Vernon, WA

We had a nice stay at this large home--plenty of room for our group, and very clean and comfortable. There were a few issues that were hopefully taken care of. The photos in the listing were not accurate, as there was no pool and no full sized basketball goal. The entry keypad is a bit tricky, but we figured it out. Also, the ice maker was not working right, dumping ice in the bottom of the freezer. The management team was very responsive to our concerns, so that was good. It's a very nice, quiet neighborhood, and our group had fun playing corn hole in the spacious backyard. The back porch off the living room was excellent for morning coffee with a great view and lots of birds. All in all, a nice place to stay that's close to beautiful nature.
