While I love to meet our guests, we do offer a contactless check-in.
Please contact your host for anything you may need or with questions. We are available 8 am -5 pm daily, and 24/7 for emergencies.

Located in a peaceful rural setting, Garden Retreat offers easy access from the main road while providing a private, fenced five-acre property surrounded by mature trees and flowering shrubs.

You'll receive a Welcome Letter three days before your check-in with directions and access information for the house.

Welcome to our island retreat! 🌟 The master bedroom features a comfortable king bed and reading area, complete with an ensuite bathroom that boasts a double vanity and a shower/tub combo. Just open the sliding doors to step out onto the balcony, where you can soak up the morning sunshine with your coffee! ☕🌞

Upstairs, the guest bedroom offers a full-size bed and its own full bathroom in the hallway. It’s comfortable and cozy, with beautiful garden views and fine linens to ensure a great night’s sleep. 🌼

Head downstairs to discover a private bedroom ensuite with a queen bed with more lovely garden views. The bathroom includes a shower/tub combo and a vanity area, and it conveniently opens to the TV and game room on the bottom floor. With an indoor fireplace, games, and movies, this space is perfect for some indoor fun!

Explore the east side of the island, just minutes from Moran State Park, Obstruction Pass Park, the public dock, Doe Bay Cafe and Resort, and downtown Olga! 🌲

Comfortable home base for orcas visit

We enjoyed our stay at Garden Retreat on Orcas and would stay again. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious.

Great Getaway with Ample Space Inside and Out

Great house for two small families to share! Very clean and well-stocked. The grounds were fantastic for playing hide and seek and other fun ball games. The location is very serene and feels private. There is a main road bordering the property, but it's a country road with few cars traveling on it. Not a big deal at all. Also had A/C for some hot days. Loved this house!

Wonderful vacation at Garden Retreat!!

We spent 4 nights at this property and loved it! The house was immaculately clean and very well equipped. The yard/garden was beautiful and very peaceful and private. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was super nice. After a couple visits to East Sound, which was very fun, we were happy to be located on a quieter location of the island. Hope to return and would recommend this property to anyone!

Peaceful Garden Retreat

We loved staying at this property on Orcas. The house had plenty of room for 6 adults, including lots of seating areas both inside and out. The garden even had fresh raspberries that the gardener invited us to pick! The Wi-Fi was spotty at times but this wasn't a big deal as we were intent on using the week the disconnect. Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet and clean

We had a great time on orcas. The house had plenty of space for our girls trip. The house is close to Moran and easy to find. We were impressed with how clean the house was. It was easy to communicate with the host and had a lovely garden. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent House, Location, and Property.

Great house, check-in was super easy and the owner provided simple but detailed directions to the property and instructions about the house. The location was great- next to multiple major island lakes and trailheads, close to town, and passed by both a gas station and electrical charger on route to the house. We did have some issue with the wifi while we were there when it went out for a few days and we couldn’t get it back on, and a few of the outlets didn’t work. Overall great stay and the owners were great to communicate with, a 4 star rating because of the electrical.issues.

Wonderful Home

Our family was in town for a Celebration of Life and we chose this house due it being 3 bed, 3 bath. It was a lovely home & soooo clean!! That’s the one thing most important to me is cleanliness. This house had everything you could possibly need as well as spices and some condiments along with coffee and a welcome bottle of wine. I highly recommend this house for anyone on the fence wondering if it’s going to work for their needs. I would stay here again if we ever go back to Orcus.

Perfect family spot

This was a grandparent vacation with our son and his family of 2 boys. The upstairs/downstairs worked perfectly. The house was comfortable and clean. The boys loved picking blackberries. It was quiet with lovely light.
