Great place to stay in Sitka, Very Walkable to soo much. Nice to have the 1/2 bath of one of the bedrooms. Could use an updated recliner chair but overall this place checked all the boxes we needed for our stay. Would totally recommend. Super great communication and super easy check in process.

Very Nice place

This little house had a bunch of pluses—very clean, new-looking and fully functional kitchen and cooking items, Laundry room, excellent location (across the street from the fishing boat we used), and easy walking distance to “downtown”. In addition, the owner was very responsive to the one question I had when we got there. Ideally, it would have two full bathrooms, but 1 1/2 ended up working fine for three of us.

A week in Sitka

The property was in a beautiful location, with great views of the harbor/marina. Centrally located and easy to walk to town, Sage Beach or to Totem Park. It was a nice setup with the rooms/kitchen/ living space. Property manager was responsive to an issue and that was helpful. However, I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the house; it had "heavy, stale air" for the entire week, even after opening windows. For the cleaning fee, I would expect it to be cleaner; baseboards (in both carpeted and non carpeted areas) were filthy and grimy. Dishes were left in the dishwasher and not taken out. Dust bunnies in floor vents and next to beds/side tables. Other things: there should be lamps in all bedrooms. The ceiling light bulb in the bedroom blew out the last night and I had to pull the floor lamp into the bedroom. There should be extra blankets for winter months and drawers in kitchen/ bathroom should be cleaned and wiped out. There should be extra rolls of toilet paper available for the length of stay.

Fantastic!

Fantastic location, excellent house with everything we needed. Communication was clear and well in advance of our stay. Beautiful view of Marina and islands from the front window. Just amazing! Highly recommended!

As advertised - great location

Clean, well maintained property. Great location: short walk to downtown, grocery, parks, and harbor. Responsive host: provided a Pack ‘n Play upon request for our grandchild. Suggestions to host for minimal cost enhancements: provide more than 2 wine glasses and 3 coffee cups; supply more than one of the following items: toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bag. Your guests will appreciate this. We enjoyed our five nights!

A nice little home in a fantastic location!

My wife and I booked this property as a retirement fishing trip for our fathers. The location was fantastic as it is less than a two minute walk to the marina. Everything was clean and in good condition within the home. We had a little difficulty getting the heat to turn on using the directions provided, as it got chilly in the evenings. Overall, I would book here again.

Heating

The house was nice, but it was very cold and there wasn't enough blankets provided in the bedrooms to keep us warm. The heating source came from only the living room and the instructions for the heating of the home wasn't helpful and wasn't accessible as we thought. There was no way to turn up the heat in the bedrooms and didn't have any heating sources in the rooms. We also didn't have any trash bags provided for the house and there was also no tissue provided. Living essentials such as trash bags for the trash bin, extra blankets and blankets that are not sheet thin and tissue should be provided by the host.
