Classic lakeside bach

Classic family bach with beautiful views from the large deck across the lawn to Lake Rotorua. Two bedrooms, one with queen bed, and bunk bed plus single in second bedroom. Two single futon beds in living area.
Note there is no wifi (but good cell phone reception).
Fishing on doorstep in the Waitete stream.
Renovated in 2021 for comfort and warmth.
5-minute bike ride to Ngongotaha village along lakeside path (amenities such as groceries, laudromat, cafe and fish and chips/chinese takeaways). 20-minute bike to Skyline.
Plenty of parking space, and room to store your bikes in the garage securely.
20-minute drive into Rotorua town, or the Whakarewarewa bike park (Waipa). Great spot for Crankworx and general biking fun. Double kayak available for use.

Great spot

Great spot in a very quiet neighbourhood. Cosy bach that you don't want to leave with everything you need and more! I wish we could have stayed longer, only 2 nights this time. We'll definitely be back! Thanks a lot Blair and for being so accommodating.

Lovely home in a beautiful location

This was a lovely, clean, well equipped bach in a beautiful location. What a pleasure it was to sit out on the deck with the beautiful views of the lake before us. Our kids loved the garden while parents and grandparents alike loved the stunning location… and the fly fisherman amongst us found the perfect spot in walking distance! Quick and easy communication with the host with made this stay very easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Rotorua basecamp and destination in itself

Kia ora, when couldn't believe how beautiful the house is. The boys had hours of fun on the lake and we explored Rotorua and surroundings from this wonderful place. Thank you very much for a memorable stay.

The property is clean and tidy. Lovley modern batch. The beds are comfortable. The location is spectacular right on the lakefront and really close to most attractions.

Property was okay... Just need a lil more cleaning but overall it was near to all visting places...... TV should be first for stay.... Enjoyed so much especially since its near a lake kids really liked it. But other then that it was enjoyable for kids....

Our breaths were taken away when we saw the backyard. The lake is literally in the backyard. The stay was very clean, cute, and modern. We had a great time!

Very nice location

Fantastic home from home with stunning lake view. Hardly 9 mins drive to Gondola and luge. Just need a little more cleanliness and amenities like wi-fi and dishwasher.

Plesant stay

Great location with excellent lake view. Nicest and Best located place and easy to all the sites we wanted to see. No hassles in the stay . It was too smooth and had good experience.Microwave is also there. No Wifi thats the only missing. Need to check the expiry dates before using any existing products in the house.

A beautiful wee spot

We stayed with our four children for a short school holiday break. Such a lovely place, kids had fun out by the waters edge feeding the ducks. Glad there was a heat pump! As we wanted to stay up after the little kids had gone to bed we topped and tailed our twins in the bottom bunk easily. Miss 3 was on the top and then our teen was able to stay up and sneak in when it was his turn for bed. Would love to stay again, maybe in summer but suspect that would be out of our budget! Dreams are free! Thanks for hosting 💕

It's a great place and location. Pity it's not summer when we stayed but the heat pump made the whole place warm. We are Contemplating to be back for summer as there's a save place for the bikes. Thanks for hosting us.

Welcome to Rotorua

Beautiful spot right on the lake with amazing views in the morning and evening, Nice and quiet but close enough to The little township for the essentials. Kids were a little sad there was no wifi but we still had fun none the less, Blair was awesome to deal with very quick to answer any questions when asked and very friendly when did. definately recommend to others it's a good place to sit and unwind after a busy day with the kids.
