This family friendly property has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
A modern house that offers water views to sit and enjoy your morning coffee.
There is a big deck to relax on or enjoy a BBQ dinner and drinks, at the end of the day.
You will find a fully equipped kitchen including appliances like coffee machine, dishwasher, oven and hobb.
Situated up a private right of way, directly across the road from the beach.
Kayaks are provided, letting you get on the water to enjoy a paddle in the lagoon at high tide or further around to Tata Beach, if you’re feeling that way inclined.

Beach retreat

Location is phenomenal. Accommodation was very comfortable for two couples. Easy to have meals and the grill was handy. Access to the beach and kayaks was nice.

Perfect Getaway!

Great location for tons of adventures in the Golden Bay area! We loved that it was close to town and Abel Tasman yet even closer to the beach. Bonus are the massive glass doors and the kayaks! Ariana was an excellent host - very communicative and the house had everything anyone could need.

Modern beautiful Bach on golden bay (Ligar Bay)

Impressive well equipped Bach. Everything you need, steps from a beautiful beach. The hosts are very responsive and ready to help you get the most out of your holiday. Short drive to Takaka, cute town with lots of shops and cafes and groceries.

Perfect location

Lovely modern property in a great spot! Loved how close we were to the beach and we made the most of the kayaks provided to explore the bay. Ligar Bay is a quiet little spot (which is just what we were after) but is not far from the amenities of Takaka, making it the perfect getaway.

Fantastic location right by the sea. Everything you need for a comfortable stay was provided. Even games and puzzles for rainy days. Would definitely stay again.

Great accommodation in an amazing location

Stayed here for a week with my partner and parents. Really nice place, everything in the house worked and was clean. The house is really close to the beach, but also far enough back from the main road that you can’t hear traffic. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We had an exceptional visit at Ariana's bach. The place is exactly as advertised. The highest recommendation we can give is that we intend on returning to this special place.

Excellent Holiday Home. Walk to the beach.

We have been to the Golden Bay area of New Zealand many times over the past twenty years. This holiday home in Ligar Bay is one of the best places we have stayed. It is clean, well-stocked with everything you could need, quiet, and comfortable. It is a newer unit with tinted glass (a great thing to have in sunny Golden Bay) a robust heat pump/air conditioner, quality linen, towels, and nice, plush carpet coupled with hard floors. Blackout roller blinds on remote control is also a big plus. The host is great. She helped us with a few minor details and sorted out what was needed. The home is so close to the beach, you can literally walk there in a few minutes. A great place for anyone looking for quality in Golden Bay.

Fantastic Location

First and foremost, the house is in a fantastic location for Abel Tasman and Golden Bay sites. Basically, it is about 40 minutes to Tōtaranui Beach. Add to that, it is about 100 m to the Ligar Bay beach, which is nice at high tide. Pohara and Takaka are a short distance for shops and restaurants. The building is modern with the needed comforts. The big plus that there are large patio doors that can fully open. The host was responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Checking in

The Stayz App. could work better. We stayed elsewhere in the same region and were out of mobile phone coverage, consequently when we got to the house and tried to retrieve the digital key code we were stranded and unable to get in. As we had already fully paid the accommodation it would have been better to provide the digital key code much earlier. With a bit of trouble we managed to access some mobile network coverage ( via WiFi ) from a local resident to be able to retrieve via the Stayz App. the necessary code. Very frustrating !
