Totara Bach is located at Tata Beach, Golden Bay. Sleeping 8 people this is a kiwiana style Bach that has plenty of character and a great place to come and relax. With ocean views and less than a minutes walk to the beach.

Enjoy a day at the beach, have an outdoor shower to wash the salt off, open a beverage on the deck enjoying the sunset. Challenge the kids to a game of pool in the games room down stairs whilst the bbq is cooking.

From surfing and kayaking. To walking the Wainui Falls track just a 12-minute drive away, to exploring Abel Tasman National Park just a 34-minute drive away. Golden Bay is full of adventure and gorgeous views that will make you keep wanting more.

Special Conditions:

The property is on tank water, so please limit the length of the showers.

Cleaning fee does not cover BBQ. Guests required to leave BBQ in a cleaned state.

Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Leave the house tidy and do the dishes before you leave. Bed linen is provided. Bring your own towels.

Please note Campervans and motorhomes are not permitted to be parked on the property.

Maximum number of guests is eight, no camping or pets. Smoking is only permitted on the lawn outside, not the decks or inside the house.

Please note that the garage is not available for guest use.

Lovely quiet spacious home in Tata

A great house for a larger group or family. We loved the location right on the beach, the pool room, the large lounge, sunroom and deck. The house is aging but clean and tidy and warm. Would stay again with a family.

Beautiful Getaway

Property is located in a great spot just one house from the beach. Had everything we needed for a great vacation. We spent 3 days in and around Abel Tasman and this is an excellent location for accessing the park and other tracks in the area. The house is well equipped though an online or physical manual would help with things like wireless connection and check out instructions. If ever in this area again, we would definitely stay here.

Great Stay

Second time we have stayed here. Caters for 8 people nicely, spacious conservatory and nice sitting on deck outside bedroom in the afternoon early evening.

The property is located in a beautiful spot everything was spectacular, the views, the comfort of the house. If people were to have infants they just need a child proof gate for the top of the stairs. We will definitely stay here again and also recommend to others. 😁

Great place, would stay again.

Everything was great, location, loved deck for catching afternoon sun and view. Layout of bedrooms and lounge suited us perfectly.

Wonderful and relaxing.

This property is in a wonderful location. It is very clean and tidy and spacious. I would love to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. My favourite part is how close it is to the beach.
