The Space:
Make your way through the front door into our freshly designed vacation home. Step up onto the front porch and into the house via the keyless electronic lock and be greeted by the sprawling open-concept home. The family room, dining room, and kitchen all flow together under gorgeous shiplap & beam-clad vaulted ceilings. Throughout the house, you'll find plenty of beaming natural light and generously-sized rooms, all designed and styled with your comfort in mind.

LIVING AREA
The open-concept living area centers around a colossal plush sectional with room for everyone to settle in and enjoy one another's company. You'll love the 65" wall-mounted SmartTV with access to all your favorite streaming apps - the perfect cozy place for a movie night.

KITCHEN & DINING
Cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the fully-equipped eat-in kitchen. All the gadgets, trays, dishes, and utensils you would expect in a family home are waiting. Enjoy a full-size fridge/freezer, a freestanding oven and gas cooktop, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a dishwasher, so you are ready for your next meal.

There will undoubtedly be some memorable meals at the elegant dining table set for 10, and there's even a highchair available for the little ones. Enjoy your morning coffee or watch the chef cook your favorite meal at our kitchen island for 4.

BEDROOMS
This home offers four spacious bedrooms. The primary suite bedroom is tucked away in the home's left wing near the mud room. The other three bedrooms are positioned on the right wing of the house. Each comfy bed is topped with soft, premium linen and bedding, and you'll find plenty of storage to unpack and make yourself home. Each bedroom has a 40" wall-mounted SmartTV, ready for guests to enjoy watching their favorite TV shows while relaxing in bed.

BATHROOMS
This home provides 3.5 bathrooms: The primary suite features a private bathroom, a custom tile walk-in shower, and a large walk-in closet. The guest suite includes a private full-size bathroom with a walk-in shower and a single vanity. And the third lovely full-size hallway bathroom is right between the two King bedrooms. A powder room/half bath is located in the left wing, near the laundry room.

LAUNDRY
The laundry room, with a full-size washer and dryer, is in the home's left wing, near the mud room, complete with detergent and dryer sheets for making vacation laundry a breeze.

OUTDOOR AND GARAGE
Step outdoors onto your private patio and enjoy the private fenced backyard via French doors from the main living area or primary suite. An attached oversized garage is ideal for 2 vehicles and is ready for use. There is also generally free street parking, so you can be assured that finding a spot will be perfectly convenient.

The Neighborhood:
Compton Heights is a vibrant St. Louis neighborhood with a diverse community, stunning architecture, rich history, and close to everything! This home is near many local restaurants, coffee shops, and bars.

Compton Heights, located adjacent to our world-famous Tower Grove Park and also sits in the shadow of the great water tower of Reservoir Park, is one of the earliest planned residential developments of the American 19th century. The subdivision's design incorporated unique features such as curved streets to create a pleasant vista and reduce traffic flow. Missouri's first residential deed restrictions ensured private family use of each residence and established a common setback for each home.

The convenience of being 10 minutes from everywhere makes this neighborhood a fantastic location. Compton Heights constitutes a hub with spokes accessing Downtown, the historic Soulard District, the Saint Louis University complexes, the Fox Theatre and Powell Hall, the Central West End, Forest Park, the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Complex, The Hill, Tower Grove Park, the Missouri Botanical Garden, and the South Grand business district. Easy access to Highways 44, 55, and 64 makes outlying areas as easy to reach as those just blocks away.

Getting Around:
The best way to get around is by car, with most highways nearby. You can also use the Metro link light rail system to access many major attractions.

St. Louis also has both UBER and Lyft available. You'll also see lots of Lime and Bird electric scooters throughout the city, so you can zoom wherever you'd like!

ABODEbucks loves hosting guests of all creeds, races, and nationalities. This said, to protect neighborhoods and properties from parties, reservation inquiries from local guests with few or no reviews will likely be denied.

PRIVACY-SAFE NOISE MONITORING
This home is equipped with NoiseAware monitoring devices that alert us if noise levels increase over reasonable levels. This allows us to request that levels be reduced to appropriate levels. To protect your privacy, the monitors do not record audio.

GUEST VERIFICATION
SafelyStay, Inc. verifies the identity of guests and checks criminal databases to confirm reservations.

TRUST & SAFETY
The SafelyStay, Inc. Trust and Safety Fee include up to $10,000 of accidental coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 for accidental property damage and bodily injury.

The Trust & Safety Fee allows the security deposit to be waived while protecting you, your group, and the property should an accident happen. The $68 fee is collected at the time of payment and may be labeled as a "Trust & Safety Fee" or "Management Fee".

NIGHTLY PRICING

EXTRA GUEST FEE
For groups of more than 7 guests, please note the extra guest fee of $15/person/night starting with the 8th guest. This fee is automatically applied based on your guest count.

✔ Quiet time is 10pm - 8am (including weekends). The neighbors are proud of their quiet, peaceful neighborhood, and we ask our guests to be respectful. Please keep voices and music down during quiet hours.
✔ Outdoor areas off-limits after 10pm
✔ Nothing can be taped, pinned, or attached to walls, ceilings, or hung from the lighting fixtures. Absolutely no glitter or confetti.

For being country people and wanting to stay in a city this was a great house! Especially with 7 young kids it was a great house with lots of space to entertain and the attached 2 car garage was a plus!! Great location as well to see all the area hot spots!

Girls trip

GREAT location, most attractions are under a 15 minute drive. Beautiful home with plenty of space and clean. Good communication with the host prior to and during the trip. Would highly recommend!

Spring break vacation for the Artman’s

The property was in a great location to everything we wanted to go see. We felt very comfortable with being able to park in the double garage at the house as well. The house has a great layout and was one of the main highlights of our vacation. Thanks for that!

Father’s Day in St. Louis

Family/friend from all over the world congregated to welcome our first grandchild/niece—the accommodations were spacious and comfortable—parking was easy. Many trips to the airport, grocery and local attractions—all convenient by car.

Perfect place for our Air Force buddies reunion

Lots of room to spread out, but also to nice table to gather together to reminisce and share meals. Only problem was a broken toilet paper holder in bathroom connected to room with 2 queen beds. Had a great stay and appreciated shampoo, etc and super comfortable beds!!

Just right

Our extended family gathered from out of town to remember a family member who we lost late last year, and whose ashes had recently been buried at a local cemetery. The house was welcoming and bright and had plenty of room for us to gather, share memories, and have a nice meal together. The location was easily accessible, and the large dining table provided ample space to eat and play board games. Would definitely stay there again when visiting the area.

Graduation weekend

We stayed here for our daughter's graduation from SLU. Great location for all graduation activities. The house is very spacious and the fact that it is a ranch was perfect for our 80+ year old parents who attended with us. The garage fit 2 cars which was nice. Checkin was a breeze and the host made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful weekend

We had a group of 7 friends and wanted to spend a weekend in Saint Louis. We stayed at this house and loved it! The house was very clean. Lots of room for us to be together in the living room or kitchen. We parked inside the garage which was really nice. The neighborhood is very quiet which was also nice. All in all in was a great place to stay and we’d love to do it again!

Family gathering

We rented this property because it was the only one that was accessible. My son is in a wheelchair and it was wonderful not having to use ramps to get in and out of the house. My parents are both in their 80’s and they appreciated the ranch style of the house. The house is close to many attractions. We went to a baseball game and it was a short drive. The house is spacious and beautiful and we hope to stay here in the future.

Nice house but not clean

The house itself was nice. However I don’t think it was cleaned beyond a wipe down. Under the bathroom vanities and couch were clearly not cleaned in a long time. We found a receipt from Arkansas from weeks prior in the couch. The trundle bed sheets had hair on them. Our feet were black within minutes of showering and walking around the house. The dumpsters across the street really bring down the appeal of the house, trash everywhere. we were told we had to be quiet until 9 am. However, on day of check out, as we were going to let our kids in the yard to run a bit before our 6 hour drive home, the landscapers came in, at 845. We understand that the service needs to be done but what if our kids were in the yard? It made us feel rushed to leave. For the amount we paid for less than a week, we are very disappointed in how dirty the house was, especially with 2 toddlers.
