Camellia Cottage Farm Stay

We are situated close to Picton, 30-45 min from Camden, Campbelltown, Wollongong, Mittagong and Bowral. We are 1 hr away from Sydney.

This cosy cottage has three bedrooms on 5 acres farm. We grow fruit trees, herbs, vegetables with loads of ornamental flowers and trees.

A swim spa to enjoy, a herbal gardens to potter around or visit farm animals located nearby. We are near the NSW Rail Museum, Thirlmere Lakes, Dams, pubs and trendy cafes.

We love hosting families with children. BUT we don't love the extra cleaning. Therefore certain items are banned or extra $120 cleaining fee applies.
Quiet time is 11:00pm as noise does travel in the country area. No parties are permitted.

Peaceful Spot

We needed somewhere to stay for our son's wedding in the Southern Highlands and Lavinia's little cottage was perfect.

Lovely house & lovely people

House has a great layout, clean & everything needed was included. Property was beautiful & nice and quiet. Owners very easy to deal with and lovely people. Definitely would stay there again.

a home away from home

Our stay at Lavinia's property was wonderful. The accommodation is first class with so many thoughtful inclusions offering a superior level of comfort. It is close to the main attractions in the area. And Lavinia's helpfulness in communication prior to our visit was especially welcome.

Beautiful Country Home

We had a lovely stay in Lavinia's stunning countryside home. Our children loved running in the big back yard and exploding the orchard. The home was warm, clean and beautifully styled. I loved all the original paintings on the wall, especially the rockpools. We would love to stay again one day.

Hi my name is Lavinia and with my husband Matthew created a garden for supplying ingredients for my small business called Lavinia Botanica While doing this we started hosting overseas asian tourists for the last 10 years and loved it.

The town of Thirlmere is not known. We are situated close to Picton, 30-45 min from Camden, Campbelltown, Wollongong, Mittagong and Bowral. We are 1.5 hrs away from Sydney. We are semi-rural and we have abundance of native animals. I created a relaxing atmosphere in the cottage so you can refresh and recharge your batteries. Come and experience the amount of bird life on the property.

この宿泊施設の特徴

We grow fruit trees, herbs, vegetables with loads of ornamental flowers and trees.

A swim spa to enjoy, a farmgate shop to visit, herbal gardens to potter around or visit farm animals located nearby. We are near the NSW Rail Museum, Thirlmere Lakes, Dams, trendy cafes and George IV Inn.

Lavinia's swim spa is available for your use. It is situated 10 metres away from the cottage behind Lavinia's house. To keep the integrity of the water and not be contaminated by the wildlife and insects in the area the lid is always closed. More info is available and rules are in the info book in the cottage. Access to swim spa is from 8 am to 7 pm (heated all year round), extensive gardens and barbeque. Guests can wonder around the 5 acreas property. Note: "Swim Spa is closed during the months of June-July, for maintenance and deep cleaning."

Electric Vehicles and Caravans. There will be a charge of $35.00 per night if the vehicles need electricity. This will be paid to the host.
