What a lovely experience. We booked the house for an Anne of Green Gables girls trip and it was perfect. The house was clean and nicely decorated without feeling cluttered. The kitchen was very well stocked so we could cook a few meals without having to go out every day. The views were beautiful (and we enjoyed frequent sightings of the neighborhood fox). We appreciated having a pack&play and a high chair so we didn’t have to bring those for the baby. It was easy to find and we were able to visit all the sights around the island we’d planned to - the coffee table with maps and travel brochures was very helpful. The host was great to work with - he contacted me a day or two before we arrived and responded quickly to messages during our stay. I would highly recommend this location for a relaxing stay on PEI.

A great getaway

A great getaway location. We had a great stay and found that Stanley Bridge was the perfect location to explore PEI from.

I have visited this location twice- with 2 different groups of friends. Once for a week, once for 2 days. The cottage is meticulously clean, and generously stocked with everything you could need. Want coffee? There is a Kurig, a coffee maker under a counter or a kettle. Cooking? Every gadget you could need. The bedding and towels are great quality. Concise communication made everything smooth. The location was close to many different attractions and restaurants. I definitely hope to visit this location again!

Quick visit but great location to stay

Visiting from NS with our relatives from England for a quick visit. Cottage is well located, spotlessly clean and generally very well equipped. Communication was good and hosts were responsive to questions. Strongly recommend.

Our cottage (A Shore Thing) was built in 2012 in Seawood Estates. Overlooking a stunning view of New London Bay, This cottage features 3 bedrooms, a Queen Hide abed, a large kitchen, 2 full Baths and dining area, a bright living room and large deck with barbeque. Located 5 minutes from Cavendish, the home of Anne of Green Gables and many attractions such as shopping, dining, adventure parks and museums. After a jam-packed day of golf at any one of the three courses within a 10-minute drive and fun in the sun at one of our world-famous national park beaches, you'll be ready to wind down at night with a home cooked meal in your large eat- in kitchen or attend one of the many Seafood Restaurants located just minutes away in New London, Cavendish or Rustico, then enjoy roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. Discover Anne of Green Gables through the eyes of Lucy Maud Montgomery. Take an evening stroll on the white sandy beaches of the PEI National Park. Cycle or walk the nature trails at Cavendish Grove. Play a round of golf at one of Cavendish's four championship courses. Or simply enjoy a day with the family at one of our amusement parks.
