Welcome to 121 Darnley Basin Ln! A 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom beach house located in Darnley- one of PEI's most sought after areas for vacation. This area is preferred due to it's amazing North Shore beaches which provide miles of sand and crashing waves. This is the perfect area for your vacation if you want to disconnect and relax.

The famous Thunder Cove beach is a 2.2 km walk away, or a 6 minute drive. If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a quick dip though, you can walk just 2 minutes away to the basin. Enjoy outdoor living on the large covered deck overlooking the basin, or spend evenings around the fire pit.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a dishwasher, microwave, food processor, and lobster utensils. There is also a regular drip coffee maker and Keurig. The living room has a TV with cable, and Apple TV for you to stream your own apps from. Stay entertained with lots of games for kids and adults, cards, books and movies.

All 3 bedrooms feature queen size beds, fresh linens, and fans to help keep you cool at night. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo and large vanity.

Twin Shores General Store and ice cream bar is just a couple minute drive away and is open to the public. Darnley Greens which offers a 9 hole golf course, mini putt, laser tag, disk golfing and rock climbing is just 2 minutes away. The closest restaurant is Ship To Shore which is 5 minute drive away. Less than 15 minutes away is Kensington where you can find a larger grocery store, restaurants, cafes, pharmacy, gas station, and anything else you might need.

Great Base for Discovering PEI

First time on PEI and this was a great centralized location for getting a sense of the place. Super-friendly community, too!

We loved our little cottage. Close to our friends camping in rv park. Wish they had more beach chairs for 4 adults. Otherwise, it was lovely.

We had a very good time in PEI not far from the beach about a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk on a dirt road visited more beaches as you know you need a car yo get around we went to summer side , Charlestown and Kirsten great shopping. The only thing that was hard to find was seafood no restaurants had any. The restaurant close by Ship to shore had nothing but fish and chips disappointed because it had a good quote .

Family getaway

Great property. Decor was really nice. Beds were very comfortable. Due to unusual humidity, the cottage was warm for the first 3 days but the fans in each room really helped. The rest of the holiday with the normal weather for PEI, the cottage was very comfortable inside. Everything you need to have a fantastic holiday was in the cottage. Thanks for a great week!

Great place!

It was a nice stay and very conveniently close to the beach! There was no A/C but a beautiful breeze from off the water kept the house at a comfortable temperature for the most part. Very clean and comfortable place to stay! The host responded very quickly to any questions I had. As a suggestion, if ya's are gonna have more than a couple people, you may want take some extra toilet tissue and paper towel. We had 6 people in our group and we needed to buy more. Would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay!

Comfortable and cozy. Great decor and everything you could need for an extended stay. Close to beaches and great view of the Basin. Ice cube trays in the freezer were growing mould and there was some black hair (pet?) in places but I would say that both were an oversight. Other than that it was very clean. We had an issue with the water pressure and property management sent a repair person to fix it right away. All in all I would return to this cute cottage.

Excellent séjour.

Chalet très confortable, propre et bien équipé, bien situé pour explorer l'Ile. Deux attraits importants : la magnifique plage Thunder Cove à seulement 2,2 km de marche et le Basin sur le site où on peut marcher longtemps dans l'eau "aux genoux". Avons séjourné 6 jours (24 au 30/08/24) - étions 4 adultes, dont 1 couple. Une des personnes a fait du télé-travail toutes les matinées sans problème.
