The Space:
Make your way through the front door into our freshly designed vacation home. Step onto the front porch and into the home via the keyless electronic lock. Steps leading up to the 2nd floor, you'll be greeted with vastly high ceilings, lots of natural light, and generously sized rooms designed and styled with your comfort.

LIVING AREA
The living area is filled with a plush sofa framing the beautiful nonworking fireplace with two modern chairs for plenty of comfortable seating. The tall ceilings and windows capture infinite natural light making this space so inviting. A smart TV is in the corner with access to all your favorite streaming apps - the perfect cozy place for a movie night.

KITCHEN & DINING
Cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the fully equipped high-end eat-in kitchen with all the gadgets, trays, dishes, and utensils you would expect to find in a family home. There is a full-size fridge/freezer, a freestanding oven, a 6 burner gas cooktop, a microwave (in the pantry), a coffee maker, and a dishwasher to take care of all the cleaning up.

Serve up your meals at the high-top bar table or gather everyone into the elegant dining room for dinner with a table set for 4 guests.

BATHROOM
One full-size bathroom with a single vanity with storage and a bathtub/shower combo. Offering plenty of extra clean, fresh fluffy towels and toiletry for your stay.

BEDROOMS
This home offers two spacious bedrooms plus a private home office. Each bed is topped with soft, premium linen and bedding, and you'll find plenty of storage to unpack and make yourself home.

One bedroom has a Queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has a Full-size bed. These bedrooms' minimalist and organic designs make for a serene space for a perfect night's sleep! One of the bedrooms offers a large Samsung TV so you can catch up on all your favorite TV shows from the comfort of your bed.

LAUNDRY
You'll find a full-size washer and dryer in the home's basement, detergent and dryer sheets, and everything you need to make laundry a breeze while on vacation.

The Neighborhood:
Shaw is one of the oldest and most intact neighborhoods among St. Louis City's historic districts and is centrally located just minutes from Downtown, the landmark Soulard District, Forest Park, The Hill, Tower Grove Park, the Missouri Botanical Garden, and the South Grand business district.

Flora Place, in the heart of the Shaw neighborhood, hosts the annual Historic Shaw Art Fair, which showcases juried artists from around the country, entertainment, and local cuisine.

Close by, you will find the beautiful Missouri Botanical Gardens, restaurants, and shops with miles of tree-lined paths, playgrounds, fountains, and points of interest, including the top-rated and free Zoo and Art Museum.

Foods from around the world are served at nearby restaurants on Grand Ave with no shortage of Italian restaurants on "The Hill" nearby. Access to major freeways is convenient for taking in a Cardinals game, visit the arch and riverfront, stop by beautiful Soulard, or tour the Anheuser-Busch brewery.

Getting Around:
The best way to get around is by car, with most highways nearby. You can also use the Metro link light rail system to access many major attractions.

St. Louis also has both UBER and Lyft available. You'll also see lots of Lime and Bird electric scooters throughout the city, so you can zoom wherever you'd like!

ABODEbucks loves hosting guests of all creeds, races, and nationalities. This said, to protect neighborhoods and properties from parties, reservation inquiries from local guests with few or no reviews will likely be denied.

PRIVACY-SAFE NOISE MONITORING
This home is equipped with NoiseAware monitoring devices that alert us if noise levels increase over reasonable levels. This allows us to request that levels be reduced to appropriate levels. To protect your privacy, the monitors do not record audio.

GUEST VERIFICATION
SafelyStay, Inc. verifies the identity of guests and checks criminal databases to confirm reservations.

TRUST & SAFETY
The SafelyStay, Inc. Trust and Safety Fee include up to $10,000 of accidental coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 for accidental property damage and bodily injury.

The Trust & Safety Fee allows the security deposit to be waived while protecting you, your group, and the property should an accident happen. The $68 fee is collected at the time of payment and may be labeled as a "Trust & Safety Fee" or "Management Fee".

✔ This home has been carefully designed and outfitted for the comfort of vacationers and business travelers. Please do not inquire if the following items don't work with your plans.

✔ No additional guests - If more guests are expected, please add them to the reservation
✔ No Parties - If the guests exceed the number stated in your reservation, it will be considered a party

✔ Outdoor areas off-limits after 10pm

Amazing stay!

We loved this stay! It was the cutest place and has enough space for the three of us. It's in a super cute neighborhood! The host was amazing and was super accommodating and answered any questions I had. We will be back!

Great family stay

We had a great time staying in Shaw! It was so beautiful to walk through Tower Grove Park, walk to the botanical garden, and to the coffee shop down the block. Short drive to downtown and Forrest Park. We had just about everything we needed. Only drawback was that the primary bedroom did not have AC, but thankfully it wasn't too hot outside yet when we visited.

Lovely place to stay

We enjoyed our stay! It was convenient, clean, very well stocked and comfy. Not a complaint, but I think adding a few towel holders in the bathroom would be helpful. We would certainly love to stay here on our next trip!

Great location and cozy urban place

I really enjoyed the place it was the perfect size. The kitchen was great to cook in and I enjoyed sitting on the deck and having a cup of coffee in the morning. The location is close to everything. I will definitely book again.

Home in Shaw Neighborhood

Really nice 2 bedroom apartment in a historical neighborhood with lovely brick homes. The home has pocket doors, stained glass windows, high ceilings and comfy beds. Would love to stay again.

Wonderful

Very stylish and comfortable for our two couples! We would absolutely stay here again. Property manager was very responsive (we needed more towels and they were there in an hour). Just as advertised!

Overall, the home was a great place for my daughter and I during our visit to St. Louis. The home and decor are simple, but beautifully put together. The beds are super comfortable and there is a ton of natural light throughout the home. The location is perfect and very close to mid-town, downtown, and Forest Park. We had an issue with the tenant staying below the home, but we managed this with the property manager. Overall, it was a great stay!

Great apt -as listed, beautifully designed/ decorated- anyone who appreciates the 1920s architecture will appreciate the condo rehab with a lovely modern kitchen and yet maintaining the original features elsewhere. Minimal yet adequate!! Very comfortable stay, quiet lovely neighborhood with ecclectic cafes/ bars. No elevator though as apt is one flight up!!. Walking distance to the botanical gardens- highly recommend.

Very swanky indeed

My wife, son, and I really enjoyed staying at this upstairs apartment in historic Shaw district. The neighborhood is super nice and the apartment itself is a beautifully well-kept historical (Victorian?) arrangement. We loved the renovated, up-to-date kitchen and nearly arranged bedrooms. The only downside is that the unit gets AC through window units and there isn't one in the master bedroom, so it got a little warm at night. But the situation and location was perfect!

Quiet, adequate

We were hot the first evening, and discovered there was no a/c. Were told to raise the windows, which had no screens. Could not operate the fan in bedroom without the light on, too. Light switches throughout were hard to comprehend. TV in LR didn’t work, despite three remotes. Won’t stay here again.
