Beautiful, wonderful, amazing stay on the lava cliffs. House had everything we needed - many many appliances, common spices, coffee (coffee, pods and filters), welcome snacks, beach chairs, plentiful beach towels, snorkel gear, cooler, etc. Lania views were priceless. Host went above and beyond to help us get where we needed to go when we needed to go for viewing of the active volcano. Sea turtles, dolphins and nenes did not disappoint. Convenient location for a ton of fun activities on the Hilo side of the island. Don’t hesitate. It’s truly wonderful!

Beautiful property, beautiful house, beautiful location! The house had many amenities that helped make our stay enjoyable including fishing rods, hiking poles, beach towels. A lot of time and love was put into this rental house, making it feel like a home for our stay. The waves crashing on the black cliffs right out the back door made sitting on the patio for morning coffee feel luxurious and peaceful. The owner, Mike, was great at communicating and had many helpful tips for things to do in the area, including letting us know of current volcano eruption. We hope to come back and stay again!

Beautiful, Peaceful Getaway!

Beautiful home, in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of charm. We enjoyed being right on the water and the sounds of the waves hitting the rocks…very peaceful. The house is quite large & could easily accommodate a family/group of 10. There were only 2 of us, but the host was very gracious and left a wonderful treat basket to greet us too! My biggest struggle was no AC…although there were lots of fans, but I get overheated easily. It’s a small fix to add AC to at least the bedrooms and problem solved. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay, made great memories, and we’d love to go back!

Beautiful location!

The property's location was perfect for visiting the Puna area, local waterfalls & Hawaii Volcano National Park. The setting is quiet and the view is incredible.

Rigjt on the Surf!

Beautiful location. The faint sound of surf pounding on the rocks was such a wondeful soundscape to our time here. Very welcoming hosts, great facilities, terrific communication. Convenient washer and dryer. Could not have asked for a better 1st impression of Hawai'i! You will not regret booking this location.

Peaceful stay in Paradise Park

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in Paradise Park. It’s very peaceful and the views are spectacular. The home was very comfortable, well stocked and had everything we needed for a great stay. The added extras were very much appreciated!! Beautiful home right on the Oceanside cliffs. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood approx 30 min SE from Hilo and conveniently located near Volcano National Park. Comfortable amenities and we were welcomed with a generous snack basket and Hawaiian music.

Amazing house; amazing view!

I can’t say enough about how terrific this property and the whole experience of staying there was. Mike texted with us and answered every question—he even contacted us to suggest we go see the eruption at Volcanoes National Park. He provided all sorts of great information about the area. It’s difficult to leave the gorgeous view from the upstairs deck, though! We saw whales spouting and dolphins swimming by. And the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! If we could, we’d return every year.

Pali Hale Paradise

We love this house, and have been returning to it for many years. The sunrises while sitting on the lanai having coffee in the morning are spectacular. The kitchen is fully appointed, and the great room with vaulted ceiling is welcoming. A wonderful place to have as a base while enjoying activities on the Big Island.

Idyllic!

We so enjoyed this spacious home and the incredible views. There were only two of us but it would be ideal for 2 or 3 couples. The hosts have readily available an abundance of beach supplies, books and games, binoculars, and outdoor seating. This was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the setting.

Pali Hale is THE place to stay near Hilo

The house is beautifully laid out. The full lanais on both floors are wonderful. The kitchen is fully equipped. The view is outstanding. The host is exceptional. We've made our reservations for next year.

Great house. Easily and comfortably houses a family. Picturesque view. We saw many sea turtles; a little too late in the season to see whales (late March). All the accessories you will need: beach towels, scuba equipment, umbrellas, binoculars, and more.

Amazing vacation home

We stayed here from July 12-16 and it was a wonderful home. We were welcomed by beautiful Hawaiian music playing softly in the background and a fabulous basket of goodies. The house was very clean and had all the extras you need. We were able to enjoy breakfast on the veranda and watch the waves crash on the cliffs. The views were spectacular. The host was very responsive and always kind. We loved that they had boogie boards, beach towels and even fishing poles! Definitely recommend this home!

Paradise in every way.

Beautiful home situated in the ideal location. It was such a nice touch to be welcomed with Hawaiian music playing. We loved every minute of the sound of the ocean, watching the crash of the waves. Our wedding ceremony was perfect -- on the lava rock with the waves splashing -- truly spectacular and unforgettable. Hated to say good-bye. Until the next time.

We love sharing our home and the island with visitors, and we love helping guests achieve unforgettable experiences on Hawaii Island. We're avid volcano/lava enthusiasts and love to help visitors find and experience beautiful lava landscapes of Hawaii up close and personal.

Pali Hale is a special place. The house is completely oceanfront located right on the gorgeous lava cliffs of the Puna peninsula on the east side of Hawaii Island, near Hilo. What makes Pali Hale special are the views and the sound of the waves crashing against the cliffs. The design of the house is designed around the amazing ocean views. When you step into the spacious living room you literally have a 180 degree view up and down the coast. Both master suites are ocean front with incredible ocean views, and there is a 2nd ocean front family room living area with futon. Even the garden bedroom has an ocean view thru the doorway. Pali Hale is a spacious 2000sq feet home with room for groups up to 8 (we can accommodate families up to 8 persons and un-related groups/friends up to 5 persons per Hawaii County STVR standards). And Pali Hale is centrally located for all of the east Island activities such as Volcano trips, black sand beaches, snorkeling, swimming, waterfalls, hikes and more.
