Our spacious and inviting 3 bedroom home is perfect place whether you are looking for a fun time near but not in the centre of Melbourne or looking for comfortable and affordable short term accommodation . The house has the original kitchen and bathroom,both in good working order, and a few more 60s touches for your enjoyment. Our superb location offers easy access to beautiful swimming /dog friendly beaches, Beaumaris Concourse shops, Ricketts Point Tea House/Marine park/beach, Donald MacDonald Reserve/dog park/playground , world class golf courses, highly sought after schools and Black Rock Village all within close walking distance or a short drive. Fantastic cafes, bars, brewery, restaurants, fast food and bakeries are close.Public transport to city available at our doorstep.Short and mid stats are welcome.generous discounts apply

Great Stay

This was a very well set up property in a great location and perfect for a relaxing break. Our small dog enjoyed the big, fenced back yard and local parks. Thanks for a great stay. we will be back.

Fabulous mid century home with a large yard and a fabulous host

Staying here was simple , easy, comfortable with lots of charm and convenience. We loved it.

Beautiful property

We had a lovely 2 nights stay. The house is so gorgeous and a step back in time, I just loved it! Loved exploring the Beaumaris and Black Rock areas with beach walks, great coffees and a fun visit to Le Bar! Definitely recommend the house, area and our host was lovely and very accommodating.

As we arrived after dark the host very considerately left lights on for us which we appreciated. She also checked in with us to see if there was anything we needed. The property was very pet friendly and as I have a large dog the backyard was excellent. The location was very convenient to where my son and his family live. The living room was a great place to relax and the kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and cleaning products. Whilst the house was superficially clean (which was good), given the age of the house there were areas which needed deeper cleaning. That aside I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again if the opportunity arose.

Fabulous, large and comfortable mid-century house

My family of 4 had a great stay at this fabulous house. It’s gloriously mid-century, furnished very comfortably and is huge. The house is large and the back garden even bigger. It has been a great home base for us for a week while renovating. Thank you!

Beaumaris Beach House

The property was charming and suited us perfectly as a family. When you step through the door it feels like you are going back in time with the retro kitchen and bathroom and the tastefully selected family photos from the 1960s. The layout is ideal for a family, with the lounge kitchen and dining room in one part of the house and the bedroom in the other. The house had everything we needed in terms of dishwasher, washing machine etc and the large garden and sandpit offered endless entertainment to us, the children and the dogs, and made hanging out the washing on the line was a very pleasant experience. This home is not for someone who is expecting a newly renovated house but a family who want a beautiful family home to relax in for their break, close to the shops at the concourse and Black Rock and the beaches at Ricketts Point / Black Rock, it is perfect.

Schöner Start unserer Reise

Die Kommunikation mit Liz war freundlich und auch mit John haben wir uns gut verstanden. Die beiden sind super Gastgeber und aufmerksam, helfen einem weiter und haben auch auf das Haus und unsere Sachen geschaut, als wir länger nicht da waren. Parkplatz am Grundstück, etwas weiter vom Zentrum von Melbourne entfernt, dafür aber umso entspannter und auch der Strand ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Das Haus ist grosszügig eingerichtet, in der Küche soweit Utensilien zum Kochen und Essen vorhanden, im Badezimmrr frische Handtücher und Duschgel. Alles in allem würde dem Haus jedoch eine Instandhaltung gut tun.
