The property was beautiful. We really enjoyed sitting on the covered deck to eat and relax. The community pool was very nice. The hot tub was nice but it was too hot outside to use much. The pool table was unusable due to how close it was to the walls - they’d be better off converting to a full bedroom. The location was great - very close to Dollywood and Ripken. We were there for baseball and it was only a 15-20 minute drive to the fields, but far enough away from the crazy Pigeon Forge downtown that we felt like we were in the mountains. The road to the community passes right by the Dollywood entrance and we only had one day where we were affected by that traffic. Early morning baseball games helped avoid the Dollywood crowd. The property manager was in constant communication until we signed their contract, then they were radio silent. They sent us the code to unlock the house well in advance, but never sent the to gate code to get into the community. To their credit, they did have someone answering phones at 9pm on Saturday to give us the gate code, but it was frustrating after a long day of travel. FYI, there is no useable yard due to the hillside the house is built into (the satellite photo is deceiving), but it didn’t really affect our stay, just meant more walking up and down the hills when the dogs needed to go out.
