Thanksgiving Stay

We arrived Thanksgiving evening everything was great we had exchange students and grandkids with us they all loved the cabin and had a wonderful. Easy to get to everything.

Anniversary, birthday getaway

Nice property, close to entertainment. Beautiful view, spacious. Does not provide any spices or complementary coffee. Place is spacious. Normal wear and tear. But still a nice area, place. We had a great time. There was construction going on when we went. We made the best of it.

Pretty good, but room for improvement

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Check-in was easy and hassle-free, location is great, view is tremendous. Minutes from Pigeon Forge, easy access to the National Park through a side entrance. Cabin was pretty clean, except for the press-on nails left sitting on a window sill. The disappointments were specifically, the lack of TV beyond the big four networks (not a problem except on rainy days) and the foosball table being replaced by a pay-for-play arcade machine which is very unusual for a VRBO. We enjoyed the property and would recommend it to others. The listing should be updated to show the change in entertainment options, but beyond that, good place.

Misty mountain home experience

Great home and my family definitely enjoyed it. Unfortunately, we did not have heat for more than 24 hours before issue was resolved. There was a delayed response to clear the driveway/road. My family had to walk from the resort office to our cabin which was at the top peak. It was a challenge experience due to my family including small children and a pregnant woman trying to walk to our cabin.

Property was beautiful hot tub didn’t work entire time we there.

Kept being told they would fix hot tub, constantly given the run around needless to say it was never fixed even though they claimed it would be and was never informed it wasn’t working before hand even though they were well aware it wasn’t.

Just Right for us

We stayed at this home with 4 adults and 6 kids under 13. Everyone had enough space and it was a comfortable stay. Thank you for the chance to stay in your place.

1st 2 nights were rough due to AC being broken, shower curtain in upstairs bathroom covered mildew

Nice cabin, would recommend someone doing a once monthly walk through of these properties to address issues before a customer has to report them.

Felt like home

Loved the property and location, it's not far off the main strip. Plenty of room to relax after a long day of shopping. Would definitely come back to this cabin!

It was very clean and beautiful

We loved it, just wish you didn't have to pay to play video game, and wish it would have had Netflix. Other than that thus cabin was AMAZING!

Stay

For the price- more soap should have been provided. For the price, QUALITY toilet paper should have been provided. We think the extra fees are terrible. Understand paying a damage fee ahead, but if everything is fine, the money should be returned.

Misty Mountain Hideaway Cabin

Nice cabin. Great location within a few miles of all the attractions and dining. Only negative was there was no hot water pressure at all in sinks and showers so could not shower first night. Management did cure within 24 hours of my call for maintenance though. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay. Definitely would recommend this cabin.

Our stay

Loved the location and view. Tip top of the Mountain. Entry code was wrong when we got there but that was corrected quickly. We had no central heat, fire place was for looks only and the space heaters kept throwing the breakers. Had no skillets and the bed in one of the downstairs bedrooms was horrible. Other than that, it was fabulous. We had a great time.

Lo malo fue que los días que estuvimos ahí el calentón central estuvo dañado, espero ya lo hayan arreglado, pero no aguantamos frío, porque ya estaban preparados con calentones portátiles, lo bueno también de la buena comunicación. Nos dejaron saber de antemano lo que estaba pasando.

Great stay but needs work

Was a great stay but there was a few things that needed fixed ... one of the kitchen chairs back was broke. Had to call maintenance bc the jacuzzi tub leaked down onto the down stairs bed so we couldn't use it . Handles where missing on closet door and a few other things. Other then that the staybwas good very quite and relaxing.

Needs a little TLC

Mattresses need replacing, toilet seat needs replacing, bathtubs need plugs and they need a bigger charcoal grill. Otherwise the view was amazing and we had a enjoyable stay!

Closeness to all activities, bedroom size, nice kitchen and plenty of cookware to use. We will stay here again. Our view was fantastic! !!!!!

Great cabin

We enjoyed staying in the cabin, however the upstairs was always hot and the back porch was always in direct sunlight . There were no trash bags . Several small but fixable things .

BEST STAY EVER - GREAT FAMILY VACATION

5 Adults, 3 Children. It was a family vacation. We loved the cabin, amenities and overall atmosphere. We wished we could have stayed longer and definitely will stay again at this property. What's it like at Christmas time? Is it hard to get up to the cabin? Thanks for a great vacation and making wonderful memories.

Misty Mountain Hideaway

The property was just as described! We had a great family Spring Break Trip. The cabin was fully stocked with all essentials and more. The only thing is it needs a new can opener and could use a cutting board but we made do! Wish that the outdoor pool would have been open. It would have been nice to have more children's tv channels available for the days that it rained and when winding down in the afternoons and also a bigger grill to accommodate cooking for the group of 10. We also had quite a bit of garbage that would have been nice to have removed halfway through the trip since we had so many people with us and took advantage of using the kitchen to cook. Overall the cabin was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay and our first booking with VRBO! Will definitely be using this method of reservation again!

Beautiful Cabin in Perfect Location!

The cabin is in the perfect location! It’s 8 minutes from the attractions in Pigeon Forge and also close to the National Park entrance in Wears Valley! Check out one of our favorite trails close to the cabin - the Greenbrier School House located in Met Cafe Bottoms in the National Park! The cabin has all the amenities you will need for your stat, but please note that there is no left over spices or condiments from previous guests so you will need to bring your own; salt/ pepper, spices, flour, sugar etc. also the cabin desperately needs to change all the mattresses - they are all sunken in the middle and extremely uncomfortable. Being a cabin rental owner myself, this would be a top priority because a good nights sleep is well needed after a busy day hiking in the great smokies or exploring the local attractions with family!

Great location , minor issues

We loved the cabin and location, check in was easy. However the cleanliness of the cabin was not as expected. The kitchen floor was sticky and cobwebs in small places. While we absolutely understand things go overlooked we also feel If no one speaks up they will never be fixed. The management company was not very flexible with us communicating these issues and trying to fix. We were only there a short time and did not want to waste time waiting for housekeeping to fix it ( they originally were supposed to come at 5 and then showed up at 8 but told the management company they came at 5 and were turned away). We did not want the cleaning process to start at 8 with two young ones. The next day they basically washed it under the rug because we did not want to waste time at the cabin hoping they would show up. Maintenance came quickly for the other issues and he was absolutely wonderful. He also documented the issues we saw because he also agreed with us on what we saw. We are flexible people and enjoyed our stay overall but wish there was a small compensation for our troubles with it being dirty ( but liveable) . They told us they had 48 hours to fix the issue but we were barely there more than 48 hours and wanted to just enjoy ourselves.
