Find a fun escape in one of NZ's most renowned beach towns. Located in the heart of the Mount, our sunny house is fully equiped with a sunny front yard. Just 5 minute walk to the beach & 5 minute drive to Bayfair Mall or Mt Main Street. Close to Central Parade shops, backs onto New World supermarket. Nice neighbourhood, we live next door, so we only rent to families or responsible groups and not to party people, or groups under 21 yrs.
**House is now open to book for New Years 2024 for a stay from 28 December for 6 nights minimum or longer**
Our house is a 12 year old Lockwood home and we have tastefully decorated the house for your holiday enjoyment. The house is fully equipped, we even supply your beach towels!
**House is now open to book for stays one month or longer for 2024 from 15 June 2024 and for Summer 24/25. Most years we have guests from Canada, Australia, USA or abroad who rent our house for long term stays, such as for work or long term golfing holidays etc. To request to stay for long term please request to book for more than 28 days and we can liaise with your for your specific trip needs, such as length of stay and prices for long stays.**
Sunny front deck and lawn to relax the days away.
Bathroom with shower, toilet, basin and washing machine (no bath).
Enter the house from the deck into the lounge, dining and kitchen area with Freeview TV on the wall. Bring your Sky box if you have one as there's a sky dish on the roof. Off the kitchen is the back door leading out to the clothes line. New World Supermarket car park is over the back fence, the supermarket is open from 7am-9pm daily. We haven't had guests complain about noise from the supermarket, as the house opens out to the front of the section, but if you have a child/baby sleeping in the back rom there may be noise during the busy Christmas period.
The Master bedroom is sunny with a Queen bed and TV.
The second bedroom has a bunk, all bedrooms have wardrobes. Please note that the bunk beds are for children or small adults.
Bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine (no dryer).
Enjoy hassle free holidays, we are happy to help you with any questions or requests. We live next door and love our neighbourhood, it's in a quiet street, with great neighbours, hence we don't want partiers or teenagers renting the house.
Located just a 5 minute walk to the beach & 5 minute drive to Bayfair Shopping Mall or Mt Maunganui Main St. The house is on Campbell Rd, conveniently around the corner from New World Supermarket and central Parade shops, which inclue a green grocer, cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, 2 bike rental shops and hair dressers. Also for the golf enthusiasts the Mount club is 2.3 km away and an easy 4 minute drive as well. Blake park, tennis courts, netball courts and the new skate park is just around the corner.
Please note the house is at the back of the section and is not fully fenced for toddlers. You can park on the grass in front of the house and need to walk up 4 steps to the porch, as seen in the photos.

Hello my name is Helen and we have been hosting guests for 4 years now in our rental properties. We moved to the Mount 14 years ago, I am originally from the Waikato and my partner is from Cornwall in the UK. Our rental properties are next door to our family home. We love our neighbourhood, it's super close to convenient shops and supermarkets. Everyday we walk to the beach or enjoy all the pearls the Mount has to offer, the water, fishing, walking up and around the Mount, great shopping and world class restaurants.
I take great pride in decorating our houses comfortably for your enjoyment. I train the cleaners so the houses are always sparkling clean (I used to work around the world on super yachts where the cleaning level is extremely high).
As well as hosting short term guests we enjoy longer term stays with guests from all around the world, staying for work or holidays. Currently the houses have a minimum of 28 days for bookings, to open the house to longer term stays.

Perhaps most iconic is Mount Maunganui, Mauao, which rises 232 meters from the sea. The walking tracks to the top of this extinct volcano provide 360 degree views which span the entire length of the Bay of Plenty.
Relax on white sand beaches, surf in the warm ocean waves, or swim in the relaxing waters of Pilot Bay. This is a great place to kick back and people watch. Numerous beach, ocean and multisport events are held here utilising the natural features of the Mount and people of all ages enjoy the Main Beach year-round.
Stroll across the road and choose a table at any number of beachside cafes and restaurants. This relaxed beach town can be likened to Southern California and Australia’s Gold Coast with the charm of New Zealand.
There is a Gourmet Night Market with an incredible selection of food and fresh produce straight from local farms. You'll also find plenty to keep you occupied in the outdoors too - big game fishing, dolphin tours, blokarting and dive trips are easy to organise. Accommodation options range from private holiday homes to sophisticated serviced apartments and hotels.
