Nostalgic and sweet, but updated with contemporary furnishings and amenities, this adorable cottage makes a stay in charming Manzanita that much more special. Shingled and shuttered, Cute Manzanita Beach House has a wood-lined interior, golden flooring, and a brick fireplace outfitted with a built-in wood stove for evenings curled up on plush sofas for TV and a crackling fire. We always enjoy our stays in Manzanita and this was no exception. The location of the house was wonderful--just a couple of blocks from the ocean and a block off the main road with restaurants and stores. The house itself needs some updates, both inside and outside. It is indeed a "rustic" beach house. We did appreciate the cleanliness and that it is pet-friendly. Communication with the host was very helpful with connecting to the internet once we arrived.

We had a wonderful stay, save an issue with a significant feature of the home that went satisfactorily unresolved. However, we were able to purchase one ourselves and enjoyed the rest of our time visiting Manzanita. The home was well appointed otherwise, and was perfectly placed near the beach, shopping and other activities.

Great location. Cute house and perfect for a couple or small family. Kitchen updated but rest of the house very old and needs work. The listing says “rustic”, so that’s what you’ll get! You’re paying for location, which was awesome. Only thing missing was beach towels and chairs. It’s one block up from the beach, so that should be stocked in the house.

Perfect coast retreat

One of the best places we've stayed at the coast - cozy and inviting, well-situated for easy walking to shops and beach both. Would definitely stay here again.

We'd LOVED the location. It's a darling decorated little cottage that felt just right with a fantastic well stocked kitchen full of all cooking and baking utensils. Enjoyed the back deck as well.

Great location

Pros: We enjoyed our stay, this place met our needs, clean and convenient location to the beach and market. It’s a bit rustic but we were comfortable. Good for a small family or a couple. We enjoyed cooking our meals and the back deck. Cons: a bit dated, the bathroom is tiny.

Charming, clean, well equipped, you thought of everything. Nice deck at the back. We enjoyed the books, games, the decor, the flowering plants inside and on the deck.Great location, five minutes walk to the beach and interesting shops. Quiet. Spotless. Up-to-date appliances. For 1,000 for three nights, I expected a comfortable bed and a nicer bathroom, but that's not what we got. One of the beds was genuinely terrible — worse than sleeping on the floor. The sheets were torn from the corner all the way to the middle of the bed, and the tear was there before we even got in, which makes me wonder if the sheets had been changed at all. On top of that, the toilet overflowed and clogged, and the shower was so small that the whole bathroom floor got soaked every time someone used it.The cottage itself is cute and well-equipped, and I did enjoy staying there — but the price just doesn't match the experience. This felt like a little beach shack, not the high-end stay we were expecting for that rate. At around 150-200 a night, it would've made a lot more sense and I would expect exactly what I got.

We will have the housekeeping team replace the torn sheets, will have the mattress inspected (and will replace it if it doesn’t meet our standards), and arrange for a plumber to clear and repair the toilet to prevent future overflows. Perfect little beach house

The stay was amazing:)! Cute, clean and cozy with just a quick walk to downtown Manzanita. Highly recommended:)! The only thing that needs attention is the table on the patio has two broken legs (and could potentially fall on a kiddo or pup) and a hair dryer would be an added benefit. Otherwise it was awesome 😎!

Very comfortable

Cozy little house, well stocked, clean, off street parking, close to the beach to see great sunsets. Appreciated the little woodstove to keep the chill out. Backyard was a bit untidy and front door steps could use a bit of work as they are showing their age. Overall, i would stay there, again.

Nice little place

Cute property. Kitchen was bigger and nicer than I expected. Bathroom is pretty small, but useable. WiFi/internet was down the whole time I was there, but that was likely due to an ice storm during the time I was there. Very close to the beach, and right off the Main Street through town.

Great place. Everything you’d need or want. Very comfortable befs, sofa, chairs, excellent appliances. Frustrating work with vrbo. Got wrong info about location. Other vendor had to find the house for us. Too much/many irrelevant messages to sort through. Venue great! Process so frustrating!
