Fox Cabin uncared-for. 2 weeks stay (no alternative) and didn't complain endlessly (not our style). Our experience, renters beware:Exterior: 15ft driveway dropped into a ditch or onto the road--barely room for big vehicle. Outside gas firepit didn't work, water-logged hot tub cover (heavy), rusty nails (pointed up) greeted our feet into the tub. Mismatched old cushions on deck chairs some ripped and many stained. Bamboo sunscreen half missing and the rest in pieces. Old carpet scraps piled in corner.Interior: Dirty house with worn-out, furniture, stained carpets and rugs, rugs had curled edges (trip hazard)--the double stick tape fix was ineffective. Hot water tank popped and crackled into the night--needs service. Clothes washer sounded like a jet engine taking off--drowned out everything. Primary bedroom ruled by the outside temperature--freezing at night, hot in the day. Why, the bedroom opened directly into a sunroom without shades. A sliding glass door should have separated these spaces instead the owner jerry-rigged closet bifold doors that didn't fit and likely violated fire codes. Poor bedroom lighting and the room smelled. Poorly equipped kitchen, lacked hot pads or sufficient dish towels, had no strainer, minimal silverware, lacked cleaning supplies, dishwasher soap, paper towels etc. Dishwasher was not anchored (ridiculous), old fridge wouldn't keep food cold and ice dispenser didn't operate.
