Rosella - Bay & Bush Retreat - 5 mins to Hyams Beach, Jervis Bay, pet-friendly

Quirky, retro beach 'n' bush retreat only 5 minutes' drive from Hyams Beach. Sleepy Erowal Bay sits on the shore of St George's Basin and is nestled in Booderee National Park bushland. After a long day at Jervis Bay's famous beaches, BBQ, stargaze and chill on the deck watching our neighbourhood 'roos.


Children and furry friends are welcome but please read the notes below to check our property is suitable for your needs.
The space
Cosy Rosella is split-level, with stairs directly off the living room. Please bring a baby gate if required.

The bathroom/laundry is downstairs.

Upstairs you'll find:

* Two queen-size bedrooms, each with full-height triple wardrobes.

* An open-plan dining room / living room / kitchen leading onto a large balcony with water views.

* A huge deck facing out to Booderee National Park bushland at the rear.
Guest access
Rosella is your private retreat and you'll have full and exclusive use of the house and gardens (other than some locked storage cupboards).


*E R O W A L * B A Y*

Erowal Bay is the perfect base to enjoy all that Jervis Bay has to offer - bushwalks, beach days, kayaking, water sports and dolphin and whale cruises. The village has a tennis club, a boat ramp (500m away) and a small pizzeria that sells delicious wood-fired pizzas on weekends.

There is also plenty of room on the grounds to park your boat.

You will be spoilt for choice for beaches. In addition to Hyams (our local beach just 5 minutes by car), Booderee National Park is just a 10-minute drive, and has multiple stunning beaches. The many dog-friendly and off-leash beaches of Vincentia and Huskisson are also just 10 minutes away.

Stock up at Vincentia shopping centre (which includes Aldi, Woolies, BWS, a butcher and a pharmacy), just a 5-minute drive away. For cafes, breweries and restaurants Huskisson is a short 10-minute drive.

* Linen and towels are provided.

* Rosella has a full-size and well-appointed kitchen (with dishwasher), but no traditional hob/oven. Instead, we have two induction hob plates, a large combi-microwave/air-fryer, and a Weber gas BBQ.

* Owing to our position at the top of the hill and plenty of large windows (all with fly screens) Rosella generally gets a good breeze. For balmy days, there is aircon and a ceiling fan in the living room. The front bedroom has a ceiling fan, and the rear bedroom has a pedestal fan.

* The TV has a Chromecast so that you can stream your subscriptions (Netflix, etc).

* Neither the front nor the back garden is fenced. Children and dogs must be supervised at all times.

* Many kangaroos live in and around Erowal Bay and visit our garden daily. Remember they are wild animals - respect them and keep your distance.

* We are lucky to live back-to-back with Booderee National Park (literally!). Please remember that all of its wild inhabitants live here too.

If you are planning on bringing your dog, please let us know when booking, as we have a few common-sense rules regarding dogs.
