Cozy Cottage With Stunning Sunsets & Sandy Shallow Water to Swim and Play

Just over an hour’s drive from Toronto, reconnect and enjoy stunning summer sunsets, water access on your own private dock and sandy, shallow water walkout to swim and play on Lake Simcoe.

Our tranquil 3 bedroom cottage has all the amenities you need for some quality time by the water. With high speed internet and within a short drive to the city, it's attractive for guests with work or other city commitments. The main room features original pine 14 foot ceilings. All bedrooms and the sunroom have been renovated for a clean and relaxed feel. The two main bedrooms feature full en-suite bathrooms for comfort and privacy.

A grassy front lawn is perfect for croquet and badminton tournaments. Comfortable front and back decks for outdoor dining, grilling and lounging. Our favourite spot is the west-facing deck overlooking the lake and watching the sunset!

Follow the stairs under the cedar canopy down to the water's edge to take a dip in Lake Simcoe's famous warm water and clear, sandy lake bottom from our dock. Enjoy a sandbar stroll with the water lapping at your knees!

Wonderful getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at La Ferme! Very private, bright, cozy, charming cottage with lots of outdoor space. Exceptional for swimming as the lake is clear with a beautiful sandy bottom. Wonderful for families with 3 bedrooms and 2 ensuite bathrooms. Very clean and well stocked with everything you need - books and magazines to curl up with, puzzles, cards and board games to play. Excellent wifi. So many special and thoughtful touches. Chris is a great host who was very accessible and quick to respond to any questions. We can’t wait to visit again!

Definite thumbs up.

I loved my week at the cottage. Lovely property, well-stocked and well maintained cottage, with a pretty lake view both up by the cottage and down on the dock. The lake has a sandy bottom quite a ways out from the shore but still recommend water shoes as there can be some sharp shells. Neighbours are close but it still feels private with the landscaping. Owner is very responsive to any questions you may have both before and during your stay. Would definitely recommend.

Great place with everything you need

We enjoyed our week in Chris' cottage very much. When we were looking for a cottage for a reasonable price, all of them were always missing something important. This one had it all. The living room is clean and spacious. Entertaintment package includes good size tv, radio, charging cables and strong, fast wi-fi signal. All bedrooms are nice and clean. Two of them have ensuite bathroom. All bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen are really well equipped. We enjoyed breakfasts on the front porch and dinners on the nice backyard deck. The water is good for any one. Wide, sandy and shallow beach is great for playing , paddle boarding and swimming. Ending a day with a nice sunset is a bonus. It is really nice place with everything you need to enjoy your say We would like to thank Chris for welcoming surprise waiting for us upon arrival. It was really nice of you.
