Step out of back gate into the nature reserve strip between the house and lake. Kayaks available on request to enjoy the lake or put your boat in at nearby ramp. Surf is only 5 mins drive away or 10 mins to protected ocean beaches for families. Cook a bbq on the back decks whilst relaxing and enjoying the uninterupted lake views . A romantic setting for a couple and just as good for two couples or two families.

Very easy check in/out. Rohan is very quick to respond to any questions and is super helpful.House is very well maintained, open living area/kitchen which then opens onto covered back verandah with lake views.The lake is roughly 20m from the back gate.Kayaks were available for us to use.The house was clean, comfortable and located within walking distance to many shops, cafes etc.Would book again.Everything was clean

Beautiful quite spot with great views

Lovely spacious home with good views and off street parking. Also great to have some pantry basics. Surprisingly quite as well. Bbq spotless and a great extra. Communication with host very good

Great Location and View

Stayed with my partner and dog. The house is great. What really sold it for us was the fully fenced yard for our dog, was perfect. The house backs right onto the lake with access and a walking trail. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side so we couldn’t do much outdoors, but the cards and board games kept us occupied. Cafes, shops and restaurants are all within 5 minutes of the house which is good. The beach was also 5 minute drive. Will definitely book this place again and hopefully the weather will be a little nicer. The host is also super cool to deal with.

Beutiful home with every you could possibly need. The views of the river was amazing, swans australian birds. Location was walking distance to everything. Best rental i have stayed in. Definitely 5 stars 😁

Great stay!

This is our second stay here and once again we had a lovely break - kids and dog included. The property is spotlessly clean and very well appointed. The view out the back is lovely and very relaxing. If you're staying during the week it's well worth strolling along the waterfront to the Birdy cafe food truck. Great coffee, homemade pies and breakfasts. We all agreed that we'd happily come back again 😊

Exceptional property with lovely outlook!

Lakeside House is a beautifully clean and incredibly well maintained property. It is very well equipped and easily caters to adults / children and canines alike. It’s in a great position and close to shops and beaches. It really made for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay! It’s a strong recommendation from us if you’re looking for a central coast break! The owners of the property have done a great job - we just wish all our Stayz bookings were up to this standard!

Waterfront dreaming

We had a wonderful few days at Lakeside. The home is delightful to relax in with waterfront access and terrific views. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Communication and checking in quick, clear and professional process. We would love to return. It’s a winner!

Perfect lakeside relaxing accommodation

Lakeside is a clean and well maintained property with all amenities for an enjoyable stay. The property is secure for both children and pets with uninterrupted views overlooking the lake. A quiet relaxing environment, Lakeside is also walking distance to both the local shopping area and the variety of restaurants and cafes in Ocean Road area. If you do decide to do some home cooking the kitchen is well equipped plus there is a full laundry. Communication regarding the stay was easy with both Rohan and Avril making sure our booking and stay was a pleasant experience. Definitely a good find in Budgewoi.

Magic location

Really nice house in a magic location. Comfy beds and furniture and all of the additional extras you could need. Great back deck, and our dog loved the enclosed yard. Plenty of nearby shops within a short walk. We loved it.
