Suite 118 - 1BR with King Bed and Kitchen

The old motor lodge re-invented! This unit is the old managers suite reinvented. All new bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, and furniture. Still has the old radiators and wall mounted AC units that we just couldn't find a way around, but they work great! An excellent base camp to enjoy the Black Hills and Badlands. Owners are avid hikers and mountain bikers who have lived in the area their entire lives. Happy to help get you pointed in the right direction.



The Sojourn Vacation Rentals and Flats offers modern, fully furnished flats in Rapid City, SD. This room includes a kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven and dishwasher. It also includes a living space, coffee bar and private bedroom. There is a community patio available for guest’s relaxation and enjoyment.



The Sojourn is conveniently located for travelers looking to visit Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Sturgis, and more. This property is nonsmoking.



The Sojourn is perfect for the vacationer or longer term out of town employee who needs some local housing. Located on Mt. Rushmore Road. 1.5 miles to downtown Rapid City, 26 miles to Mt. Rushmore. Local hiking and biking trail heads as close as .5 miles from property. Great selection of restaurants and stores in walking distance. .75 miles from Rapid City Regional Hospital.



Notes



We use the KeyCafe automated check in system so you can arrive anytime after 3pm.  The booking code and instructions will be sent via txt and email on the day of arrival.  Of course, we are happy to assist!  If we aren't on the property when you arrive we are near by.

Very clean and living room was large enough for at least 3 queen sized blow-up beds. Kitchen had minimal plates, bowls, and silverware. Perfect for 2 people. Location was perfect, right across the street from Sonic, a Mexican restaurant, and another restaurant behind with a full bar. A/C kept rooms pleasantly cool after days of sightseeing. We would stay here again.

Good deal

We really enjoyed it. It was easy to get the key, and return it. The location was the best. Many restaurant's close by, within walking distance if you want,but we liked the option of cooking at the apartment. We had everything we needed. All the things we wanted to see and do were not that far away. It was an awesome trip

Perfect place to stay for Rapid City

We had appt 118 directly in front of the complex. Lots of space and a very good kitchen. Very good beds , we slept excellent . Despite being directly at the main street, it is not too loud, the d Bedroom is in the rear. The outside sitting area is also near the street, so somewhat noisy. In the area there are the usual suspects for American food , but down the road is a good liquor store with food wine selection and in town good restaurants. Definitely recommendable.

Chilly stay

Host was very responsive to messages. Was disappointed there was no hot water in the unit for the entire stay. There were no instructions on how to operate the heat, so first night was chilly. Loved that there were supplies to make coffee provided in the room.
