Quiet home away from home

A very clean and quiet home with a very peaceful and welcoming vibe. Enjoyed the view from the back deck. I will definitely stay there again

Great Adventure

We had an extremely enjoyable time playing miniature golf and go carting and swimming one day and fun and educational time visiting Settlers Village in Bobcaygeon, the Ojibway Centre at Curve Lake and hiking and swimming in Basam Lake Park. We enjoyed the space in the cottage and the town of Cobaconk.

This cottage is situated in a great spot - close to a grocery store and a few places to eat. The property is beautiful with great space for lawn games and a large balcony to enjoy the wonderful view. The water is clean and calm. The cottage has everything you need to be comfortable. The water toys were great. The host was very responsive and hospitable. My family would certainly book it again.

Would love to come back!

This was our first time using VRBO and it was a pleasant experience from start to finish. The property owner was thorough and very responsive. This charming cottage was as described, clean, and had everything we needed to accommodate our stay. We definitely overpacked! But if anything was missed, you had the convenience of a local store walking distance from the property. All members of the family enjoyed their atah. We would love to come back! Thank you!

My family had a great time at this location! The host was very responsive and helpful and even let us check in early. A couple things to be aware of: there is a dam right by the cottage so there’s a mild current and waterfall sounds which we personally didnt mind. Secondly, swimming right off the dock isn’t fantastic since it’s somewhat shallow and there are lures in the rocks. That being said, there is a public swimming dock a 2 min walk down the way that was very nice and the dock at the cottage was perfectly fine for docking our 20 ft boat, the dam doesn’t cause a wake. The town was very quiet and felt very secure. The cottage itself met all our needs. There is a local Foodland and Home Hardware within a 5 minute drive from the cottage. Overall, we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed our stay!

The cottage had everything we needed for a very enjoyable weekend. Four bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths. The dam is right there and we all loved the sound of the running water all day. The kitchen had all I needed for preparing food, the living room had comfortable seating for all 6 adults. Our dog was welcome and the deck even has gates so the dog can’t get off the deck until we’re ready. Lovely, large yard and good docks for our boat. My family had a wonderful four day weekend at this facility. We usually go to a different place each year but are Strongly considering going back to this cottage next year.

Appreciate your reservation. We are aware of some issues with the Pots and pans due to hard Well water. It may look stained . Any ways we have changed a few of them and placed now. Now the season has ended and hopefully we can address the matter next summer season
