Sleeps 14 - 3 minute walk to beach, 5 minute drive to "The Dunes" Golf Course

A stunning 7 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom two storey home is superbly located in Moonta Bay with ocean views and within walking distance to Simms Cove. Sit back, relax and take in the wonderful sunsets. The large front balcony will accommodated everyone, to relax & cook on a Webber BBQ. Upstairs also offers a bedroom with ensuite. second bedroom & toilet plus open lounge, dining & a beautiful modern spacious kitchen, with dishwasher, electric stove, microwave & coffee pod machine. (BYO your own pods) The lower level offers 5 bedrooms, 2 more bathrooms and a large tiled lounge area.
PLEASE NOTE BEDROOMS 6 & 7 IS ONLY AVAIL FOR GUESTS 11,12,13 & 14
There is ducted r/c heating/cooling throughout and ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Outside you will find large rear pergola/patio area covered in grape vines keeping you cool plus a large hooded BBQ. A huge garage, with 3.3m clearance with cement floor is also avail for guests. The fully fenced back yard has trees and a large lawned area perfect for the family pet. Please note owners of very small dogs, gates are iron grilled & we only allow 2 dogs maximum.
Bed linen, Bath towels & mats, tea towels are provided for each paying guest.

3 minute walk to beach access
5 minute drive to Water Park, The Dunes Golf Course, Moonta Bay or Port Hughes Jetty.
Please note - Guests 1 to 10 are charged $500 per night off peak, higher in holidays per night. Guests 11, to 14 are charged $50 per guest per night.
We charge a $200 cleaning fee per booking in addition to the per night rate.
If there is damage to the property during your stay you maybe charged up to AU$500
As of February 2026 we have installed a security camera at the front door. This camera will alert the owner when there is movement at the front door. The notifications will be turned off after the guests have arrived & turned back on after the guests have vacated.

Fabulous spot for a family get away

Our 3 generations and 2 dogs had a great time. Easy access to beach with safe paddling opportunities. Accommodation was comfortable and well equiped. Particularly thankful for the stair gates that were quickly set up. Highly recommended.

Christmas new years holiday

We had 4 families stay and we never felt cramped for space. House very spacious and well set up. The evenings on the balcony a highlight for the adults.Kids had a great time at the beautiful Port Hughes beach and water park at Moonta. Plenty to do and see and a great feed at the Port Hughes Tavern.

Short getaway with family and friends

House was amazing! Thanks Yvonne for letting us stay in your lovely place. It was really spacious and big plus with 3 bathrooms. and parking was really big too! We had a really great stay and super close to the beach. Area was quiet and peaceful. Wish there was just bigger cooking pans at pots and kitchen items to accomodate a big group. Overall a 9/10!

Family time

Our stay was beautiful because of this wonderful accommodation. 10 adults and 3 children had an amazing amount of indoor space and also a Terrific backyard which includes a well kept lawn and pergola. I found communicating with the host easy. Each night we took a short stroll down to the beach for a magnificent sunset. This is the second time we have stayed here and will book in again next year. Love it!

Wonderful property

Great location. Very short walk to the beach. A nice walk (approx 2km) along the beach or track to Port Hughes. Lots of room for the children to play inside and out. High chair, stair gates, beach toys provided. Nice view from the living area and balcony. Excellent communication with the owner. Would definitely stay again.

Moonta at it's finest

Awesome place plenty of room great views and situated smack bang in between Moonta and Port Hughes jetties. We had 5 families and never got in each others way, very spacious and clean and highly recommended.

Getaway with friends

Our group had a great weekend away in this fabulous house. There was plenty of room for the six couples, both inside and out. Sitting on the balcony watching the sunset with a few drinks was very enjoyable. I would recommend this house for a group getaway!
