The property was in a disarray and unclean when we arrived approximately an hour after check in time. The merchant did not respond right away and after waiting a half hour on the ash covered porch, we booked alternate accommodation. The merchant was apologetic for the condition and asked us to wait a few more hours. I explained that I was travelling with companion with disability who required rest so we booked alternative accommodation. We asked that they reverse the charge. The merchant sent another apology. I have learned from my financial institution that the merchant is, unfortunately, requesting payment of over 800 for services not provided. It is in dispute.

Rooms and home in general were very clean, kitchen was pretty well equipped overall. It's a very nice and interesting home compared to most out there, and we enjoyed our stay. The beds are a bit firm but everything worked well and we enjoyed ourselves.

has everything you would need, lots of space to have everyone together or in separate areas! Was pretty clean when we arrived just noticed the showers could’ve used a better wash.Overall great stay!

Excellent! Very clean, and very accomodating. I called late at night to ask for extra sheets and the cleaner came up to help us. I called the host several times and she was so helpful. It's very close to the Falls, a great place for a vacation. Everyone in my family had nothing but great things to say. I'd definitely stay here again.

The property is not accurate to the listing. The air conditioning did not work. When i called i was told they were working on it. In the listing it not show there was a family living in the basement. The listing shows that there is a smart TV in the living room. This TV did not work. My brother had to reattach a hose to toilet in the master bath. The 4th room is unusable in the summer since the ac if it did work would not have reached the 4th floor and was bot a safe temperarure. The house was also not very clean

The outside of the home is run down and needs a lot of work, but the inside is beautifully remodeled. The kitchen is well equipped, except we had an issue with the coffee pot. It was a cheap Kurig, the water container was filled with water, but we discovered in the morning that it did not work. The owner said the previous guests didn’t say anything, but when you clean for new guests and see a coffee maker filled with water & a K-cup next to it that has a hole in the top, but not used, wouldn’t you check the machine? Instead of having someone go to a store for a new one, one was ordered. We had already bought groceries the night before, including more K-cups, but never used them. I was told one would be delivered the next day, but it took 2 days, plus when my husband went to get the box on the porch the next morning, the man that lives in the basement took it and said it was his. I had to contact the owner twice, because she didn’t understand at first that the tenant downstairs took the new coffee pot. She thought there was a delay in delivery & told me she had no control over shipment. Said she would have the tenant in the basement check the box. When we returned from touring during the day, the woman downstairs came running out to meet us with the new coffee pot. They knew the box wasn’t theirs, but took it, and we ended up with coffee only on our last morning.

Great stay - house was perfect for our group. Location was a great commute to and from the Clifton Hill area. Could see the fireworks every night from the small office area off of the primary bedroom. Would definitely stay again for another trip to Niagara.

Very nice location and house. Plenty of room for our family. We could walk to Clifton Hill or the falls, or we drove to Whirlpool Aerocar for free parking and took the WeGo bus. A minor detail as you are choosing a house: We visited during a very hot time of summer, and the loft bedroom was very hot. In other times of year, it would be lovely. The rest of the house was air conditioned and nice.

Good but not great

Our family stayed at this property the beginning of July. We had a wonderful trip to Niagara but the home had both pros and cons. The outside upkeep of the home is lacking with very overgrown grass and weeds. Thankfully, the inside of the home was quite beautiful. It is well renovated and very clean. A few air vents need replaced as they are cheap plastic and broken but overall the home itself inside was pleasant & well accommodated. The location was very ideal for walking downtown however if you have small children or are uncomfortable in cities walking away from the home the opposite of downtown was definitely a bit more questionable. though we enjoyed our stay we felt the home was not marketed properly. House management lives in the basement which we knew we would hear but please be aware you will hear a small child and movement all hours of day and night and will smell whatever they cook as it wafts upward into the Airbnb. To us that wasn’t so pleasant and we felt it was not described as such in the listing. Also the home is listed as 4 bedrooms. It is NOT! The 4th bedroom is in an attic loft up teeny tiny stairs that even signs say “watch your head”. My children even had a difficult time getting up there. Also the AC does NOT cool in that attic loft. Even with a fan in the summer months it is unbearable to sleep there. This property should only be listed as a 3 bedroom. Overall there are both pros and cons but for us we probably would choose to stay elsewhere next time.

Convenient location to Falls

It’s an older home but very nicely refurbished inside. Some minor problems with small appliances not working properly and living room TV is not hooked up to anything so you can’t use it for anything. But overall, the home was very clean and comfortable.

Baby and Property Manager in Basement

Impressed with the location and cleanliness of the property.Washer and dryer were listed as amenities, but access was not given to us. We sent an email through VRBO and did not receive a response. We then called both numbers that were listed on the contact sheet but did not receive a response. We had clothes that we needed to wash and dry. This caused a couple in the party to have to go and purchase new shoes.Property manager lived in the basement below and you could hear the baby crying.Roku remote did not work so we had to use our cell phone apps. When the property manager was notified, they asked if they should fix them. To me this is an important part of entertainment while we are in the house.

Not the whole house

The inside of the house was beautiful. However, read the description thoroughly because there are no washcloths and there was at least one child living in the basement with the property manager. The laundry facilities are also located down in the basement so you have to coordinate using them. Otherwise the living areas were very nice and spacious and the location was great!

Die erste Erscheinung vom äußeren des Hauses täuscht etwas darüber hinweg, wie schön und gemütlich es von Innen hergerichtet ist.Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt, alles vorgefunden was für den Aufenthalt benötigt wird und auch die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber hat einwandfrei und schnell funktioniert.Innerhalb weniger Minuten ist man zu Fuß mitten im Geschehen, kann den Skylon-Turm, die Wasserfälle oder die Brücke in die USA erreichen. Die Zimmer sind alle sehr schön und haben ein gemeinsames Bad - eines davon hat sogar noch ein eigenes Bad, einen kleinen schönen Erker mit Sitzgelegenheit und bietet auch einzeln (ohne die gesamte Unterkunft zu mieten) einen tollen Rückzugsort und Privatsphäre.Absolut zu empfehlen und wir kommen gerne wieder.Kleiner Tipp noch an den Gastgeber - für unsere Gruppengröße waren im Esszimmer zu wenig passende Stühle vorhanden. Ansonsten wäre es Perfekt ;-)

Excellent home stay

The house was very clean and comfortable. It had a fully equipped kitchen except we couldn’t find any tea towels to dry dishes with. We enjoyed our stay very much, the young adults in our group walked down to the tourist strip both nights.

Great place, newly renovated

The place was great. Everything was clean and comfortable. We could have used a couple more chairs in the dining room as we were 6 ppl and there were only 4 chairs.
