Kona Adventure

A sweet condo with everything we needed for a 4 night stay. It is close to restaurants and the ocean too. We will stay here again if we return to the big island.

Condo was perfect for our paddling team!!! Great location and walking distance from the bay as well as restaurants. It was thoughtfully decorated and stocked with all the essentials for our trip...from cooking to beach gear. Very easy check in and great communication from the team from check in to check out. Everything was fine! I would not select this place on any future trip, as the place was extremely hot and took quite along time to cool the upper bedroom ! There could have been more than one set of towels for each bathroom. The upper shower needs an overhaul the furniture and floor carpet needs updated and or cleaned and spots on bar chairs. It is these little things that make a difference in a good VRBO and a GREAT one!

Wonderful place with a decent view and walkable

The condo was very conveniently located within walking distance of shops and restaurants and a short drive to beaches. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Check in and check out was seamless. I’d go again.

Very nice central location

My wife and twins stayed at this condo for three days. It is a very pleasant and clean accommodation. Centrally located to just about anything you would need; walking distance to grocery stores, and Walmart is a short easy drive. There was enough room for four adults (twins shared the upstairs bed). The beach and local shops are an easy walk downhill. We had no problem exploring the entire island using this location as our hub.

Great location and view!

The condo was super cheerful and very well equipped with everything you could be. We were four people, and my son used a queen blowup mattress which was super helpful. The little balcony was a wonderful Place to sit and have my coffee we walked down to Kona countless times because it was so close and accessible. The pool and hot tub were delightful! Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Home away from home

We loved our condo! It was clean, well-furnished, and spacious for our family of 4. It was the perfect location. We could easily walk into town for dinner and shopping. The pool and hot tub were lovely, too. We want to go back!

I had a wonderful one-week stay at this condominium. The location was perfect — close to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront, yet quiet enough to relax. The unit was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described in the listing.Everything I needed was provided, from kitchen utensils to beach gear, making my stay both comfortable and convenient. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and communication with the host was prompt and helpful.I truly appreciated the safe and pleasant environment, which made my time on the island even more enjoyable. We've noted that you booked at a particularly favorable rate, and it's worth mentioning that the taxes and fees are beyond the owner's control. - The listing states that the condo is 1000 sq ft, and the photos accurately portray the size. Past guests have found the property spacious, with large bedrooms and vaulted ceilings exceeding 20 ft. - The listing photos show views from different rooms in the condo, and we recognize that view quality is subjective. Our guests have noted that the listing photos don't fully capture the beauty of the balcony views, expressing their enjoyment of morning coffee while watching whales.- Unfortunately, the condo was left in unsatisfactory conditions upon checkout. While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also need them to respect our house rules and treat the property as their own.We work hard to provide an outstanding guest experience and we look forward to hosting many satisfied guests.

A great way to celebrate our 65th wedding anniversary

We enjoyed this centrally located condo. It is withing walking distance to restaurants, beaches, the pier to watch fishermen, shops and grocery stores. The condo is nicely furnished. We loved sitting on the lanai drinking our morning coffee and watching the sun rise and seeing the cruise ships in the harbor. The sunsets are amazingly beautiful. Sunday morning we walked to the Mokuaikaua Church, the first Christian Church in the State of Hawaii, established in 1820. Loved the worship service there.

Awesome place, centrally in the middle of town..Everything is walking distance.. just love how convenient this location is if you don’t want to drive. FYIOnly one parking stall for this unit, but if you need additional parking there is a public parking across the street. There is a sign that says parking from 5am - 2am and towing vehicles from 2am - 5am BUT DONT.. I went down about 1:50am to check and stayed till 2:30am still a lot of cars parked..GREAT HOSTS!!!Definitely will stay here again

Great condo for a short stay. Upstairs gets pretty warm despite AC in the middle of the day. other guests/owner dont do a through clean or check of all the kitchen dishes. Some pans have baked in food residue still on them. Makes me wonder how thoroughly the kitchen utensils are getting cleaned as a whole. Would recommend to others despite that.

We were here for the Ironman race and couldn't be happier with the location of this place. It was within walking distance (5 minutes or so) of all the activities but far enough so that we could chill when needed.The place is well-decorated, clean, and very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with basics to allow for cooking and meals. The place was also closed to eateries and groceries. Definitely will stay here again.Please be aware that there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the condo - As the owner pointed out.

Great location!

We really enjoyed the condo and the convenience of being such a short walk from town. The covered parking was appreciated and we used most of the provided beach supplies. The beds were comfortable though the one upstairs was much better quality. The pool was refreshing and the hot tub was a daily morning ritual for us. They have basic provisions such as coffee and tea and some spices. The bathroom had ample toiletries and the washer/dryer worked well and the host has detergent available. Everything you need is right at your disposal! Please be sure to understand that this is a third floor unit and make sure your guests are able to traverse the stairs. Everything was as expected and we enjoyed our stay in Kona very much.
