The house was as pictured in the listing and was clean. Check in and check out process was easy to follow. The downstairs gas fireplace was not working despite us trying to troubleshoot. I reached out to the host but never received a reply or acknowledgement of the issue.

Beautiful home, beautiful view

We had a lovely time at this home for our ladies retreat to relax and unwind. It was beautiful, peaceful and the home was extremely well-maintained. The host was extremely responsive whenever we reached out. We spent a lot of time on the main level deck admiring the view. The one thing to be mindful of is just that the home is situated on what looks like a cliff, with a steep dropoff, so there isnt really a backyard area and something to keep in mind if small children are present. We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it for a chill, relaxing time. Many thanks to our wonderful host!

The home was exactly like the pictures...beautiful! The check-in was super easy and the communication leading up to my stay was amazing. They told me everything I needed to know to check-in, enter the house, the owner's contact info and what to do when checking out. I will definitely rent this home again.

The view was beautiful and the outside living was spectacular. The house was clean and met all of our needs. Especially the kitchen that was fully stocked w cooking equipment. We had some difficulties with the AC but the hosts tried to help as much as they could.

Great family house!

House was roomy, clean and thoughtfully equipped.Spectacular view over the Chesapeake. Osprey and Eagles perching in nearby trees (binoculars provided!).We all enjoyed our stay!

The home was beautifully furnished, newly renovated and well stocked with everything we needed. The owner, Andrea, was very attentive and responsive, though we didn't have any issues during our stay, just minor questions. There are (2) distinct living spaces, first & second floors, which provided a lot of privacy when we wanted it. The common areas were very nice for conversation or just hanging out. This is a house is definitely for adults only. The cliffs off the rear of the house drop 40-50 ft straight down to the beach without any fencing or protection, and would be a risk for small, unsupervised children. It is beneficial if you are Roku TV savvy, not that we watched much TV during our 3 weeks staying there. All in all, I would highly recommend this property for one or two families with teenage children or young adults. The home is on a dead-end street and provides a lot of privacy.

Best weekend getaway

Absolutely an amazing place to get away, and enjoy the beautiful views of the Bay. Well appointed house, immaculately maintained. Short distance to town, and short distance to each hikes.

Lovely Home, with a few caveats

This is a truly lovely home, a gracious host, and on unbeatable view. I made the mistake of assuming because it was on the water that it had beach access. Not only does it not have beach access, there is a precipitous 60 foot drop to the beach. This is not a home for people with young children. That said, the beach is a short drive away and there are two beaches to choose from and at least two lakes. The community is lovely and we had a great time. Bring your own beach chairs and your own hangers for the closets. There is nowhere to store your clothes if you don’t use the master bedroom. The area is great and there’s plenty to do on Solomons Island and St. Mary’s city. We probably won’t stay here again because it’s a little pricey, given the location and the lack of amenities, but if you are a stay at home kind of vacationer or if this is going to be a family reunion, it’s a beautiful, comfortable home.

Lusby Maryland property

Beautiful views from the back patio. Loved the end of the street. Very private. Lovely home. The only think I suggest is more kitchen appliances, and more plates. We had 8 people, and their were literally 8 plates. It would have been nice not to wash dishes twice a day. No potato peeler. No juicer. Knives were terrible. Not a sharp one in the bunch. Kitchen could use some updating. Everything else was very pleasant.
