Come play at Kara's Sandcastle! This house is a very short walk to the beach or you can park (only if handicapped) at the oceanfront parking. Bring your furry friend as this house is pet friendly. There's even a dog pen under the house where it's nice and shady. The full ramp makes it easy to bring up your luggage and groceries.

After a fun time at the beach you'll want to go out to dinner at one of Corolla's many fine restaurants close by. Or you can hang at the house and enjoy a fresh meal on the grill. A puzzle table/work space is a nice convenience located in the downstairs trundle room.

You'll love the large deck, it is so nice for lounging and enjoying the sweet salt air! In the evening you will want to use the telescope to do some star gazing! The night skies are beautiful on the Outer Banks.

Conveniently located, this house is close to shopping, sightseeing, Corolla's wild horses, the historic Lighthouse, and many fun activities!

It has a lovely outdoor space, with a convenient ramp, which is helpful when loading and unloading your belongings. Our older dog appreciated all the pet friendly amenities, as well.

WONDERFUL time in Corolla!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family stayed at Kara's Sandcastle for two weeks and enjoyed our entire stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated all of the cooking equipment, including good knives which are rarely found in rentals! We also liked the enclosed deck, ramp, and dog area for our Wheaten Terrier. The ramp was super convenient for moving our stuff in and out and was also great for our elderly grandmother who has a hard time with stairs. We really liked the woods behind the house which meant it was nice and quiet. Kara's Sandcastle is a super quick walk to the beach and the rolling cart was very useful for bringing our umbrellas etc. The house is ideally located near shopping and off the main road. We hope to come back soon!PS It is a dog friendly house, so there was dog fur on some of the blankets and covers, but since it was so hot we didn't need them. As dog lovers ourselves, we didn't mind, but thought you should know.
