The Twig is secluded and private beach house, within walking distance of Blenheim Beach. You see this in the aerial photos! It is a contemporary, stylish and well appointed home with lovely natural light. The house has great deck spaces, gardens, a fire pit, and room for everyone - up to 9 guests. Please however note that the 4th bedroom has a sofa bed.

Where will I be?

The Twig is located at the southern end of Vincentia in a lovely bush setting. The house is within walking distance of Blenheim, Nelsons, and Greenfields beaches. The local towns of Huskisson and Hyams Beach are a short drive away, as is Booderee National Park.

How is the property laid out?

The entrance opens to a large foyer which leads to an open plan living area, with the kitchen being central to the living space. One on side of the kitchen is the living room with combustion fireplace, and bi-fold doors that open to the covered deck. To the other side of the kitchen is the casual dining space. On the right hand side of the foyer is the master suite with private deck, walk in robe and ensuite with luxury bath. The guest toilet and laundry is located downstairs also. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a rumpus room with second TV, and a shared bathroom with shower and toilet.

WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?

This property has Wi-Fi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email.

Please note however that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If Wi-Fi is important, please therefore always have a back up plan.

What about outdoors?

The Twig has multiple outdoor spaces where guests can enjoy outdoor living. A large covered deck is accessible off the combined living and kitchen area, and has an outdoor dining table and BBQ which is perfect for entertaining in all weather. Enjoy sitting under the stars around the fire pit! The grassed backyard is fence and ideal for kids to enjoy playing games. The master suite also has a private deck.

Staying warm or keeping cool!

As well as ceiling fans throughout the house, The Twig has bi-fold doors which lets in the fresh coastal air! In cooler weather guests can enjoy the warmth from the combustion fire.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

High quality sheets and towels are provided at The Twig. However, please bring your favourite beach towels!

Parking for cars, boats etc?

The driveway is steep and the turning circle is tight, and therefore the driveway is not suitable for large cars. There is parking on the driveway for 1 small car and 1 small car in the garage. Street parking is also available.

Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

Sorry, The Twig is not pet friendly. Please contact us for other pet friendly options.

What are the minimum stay rules?

- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Summer Season rules?

Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
