The experience of our stay was a special get away. I call it our land cruise. It was delightful to sit on the private patio and enjoy a morning coffee. I was so distracted by the swaying of the tree leaves and tall willows, I couldn't concentrate on the novel I brought outside. The casita was appropriately titled with the word, cozy. We were very comfortable. All in all, a wonderful stay without getting seasick.

This place was absolutely amazing !! It's enchanting in a way !! Very private and romantic. Everything was of such quality and anything you may have needed, or forgot, this Casita had it!. The bed, the hot-tub, the towels and even bathrobes were over the top!. The art in this Casita was done by the owner and is so beautiful. We have been to Taos many times over the years and this place is, by far, the very best. !!

It was everything a Taos VRBO should be: an adobe home with vibrant decor. Located very close to the historic district it had private parking, a private courtyard, a hot tub, well gas fireplace, good water pressure with plenty of hot water and a well equipped kitchen.

Great stay!

Communication was quick and friendly. The place was cozy but spacious. We loved having a king-size bed. The location was great - easy walk to town. We highly recommend this lovely place and owner!

Charming Taos Casita

Casa Carmelita has great Taos ambiance located in a very quiet neighborhood and within walking distance of Taos Plaza. The hot tub is an additional touch that we enjoyed during our visit.

It’s time to land of enchantment

Casa Carmelita was a great place to stay! We really enjoyed the patio and the hot tub! There is a comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, and the washer and dryer was a bonus! it is close to the plaza and restaurants and stores in town.

Excellent and Well-appointed

This was probably one of the nicest places we’ve stayed that welcomes dogs. It was spotless, well-stocked, well-appointed, quiet and convenient. The courtyard was perfect and so was the hot tub. This little place checks all the boxes! We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

In 2014 we rented Casa Carmelita, (Casa Encantada #7) in search of a vacation home to buy. The appeal was instant, we looked at each other and said WOW! It had everything we were looking for and more.
