Girls weekend

Plenty of space to spread out and the main house was a great space for us all to be together(eating, chatting, etc). Very clean. We had a question about the fireplace and the owner responded right away. Plenty of offstreet parking. This is a great spot!

Wedding Weekend

This beautiful property was perfect for our daughter's wedding weekend. Plenty of room for our whole family and the ideal backdrop for getting ready with the bridesmaids on the wedding day morning. The property is beautifully designed--from the spacious bedrooms, bathrooms, and high-end kitchen and family rooms, it is perfect inside and out!

Thanksgiving holiday

Whitecaps was a perfect location for a large multigenerational group. With a wonderful space for gathering, games, tv and dining. The bedrooms are all very separate and allow for those who wish to continue visiting to do so without disturbing those who want to retreat and have their own space. The property is top notch and would be great for any large gathering, thanksgiving was great, but a summer gathering would be even more amazing, then you could enjoy the lovely outdoor spaces too. This property is in a fantastic location close to Newport and beaches while also being private. Highly recommended.

Great stay!

We loved our stay at Whitecaps! The house and property are the perfect set up for large groups. Beds were super comfortable, rooms and gathering spaces were spacious. There are many outdoor toys to be enjoyed too. Close to Newport and just a short walk to the beaches. We would definitely stay here again- it was perfect!

Stunning property with updated design

We loved this property so much. It gave us enough space to spread out, and the barn was large enough for everyone to gather, eat, and hang out together. The backyard is beautiful and I love the privacy the mature landscaping gives you. Nice design details throughout all 3 units and perfect for parking up to 6 vehicles on the 2 driveways.

Best girls weekend ever

I couldn’t rate this place higher! Teresa was very responsive and helpful when I looked for accommodations for Labor Day weekend over a year ago! She helped me find the right place for the amount of girls I was hosting. When we got to the rental it was spotless, clean and looked brand new! Such a beautiful rental with the comfiest feel. Thank you!!

This property was renovated with the highest quality materials and modern design.

We absolutely loved our stay here over Thanksgiving! The units kept us together but with sufficient privacy. All the treats of Newport are but a short drive away. I highly recommend this rental and hope to stay again.

Spacious home and great amenities

Great house for multiple families or large families to spread out and have privacy. Good outdoor space and lots of amenities throughout the property which we took advantage of during our stay.

THE BEST FIND!!!!

I had my family stay here for our wedding weekend and it could not have been more perfect. The host was amazing, the property was beautiful and the house had so much space and was well kept!! We look forward to returning on our 1 year anniversary!

We lived in New York our entire lives, but we fell in love with Newport the first time we visited and knew very quickly that this was where we wanted to build our future. Our attachment to Newport goes back for years. We got engaged under the stars at Castle Hill, and we recently moved to Portsmouth to raise our family on this beautiful island. We purchased our first Newport house in the summer of 2014 and quickly started renovations on what was once a dairy barn. When designing our properties we take into consideration all of the needs of a large family, young and old, vacationing under one roof together! We hope you love our homes as much as we do.
